Usa snub Inter, Balotelli can't wait to be a citizen on Monday

NEW YORK CITY - Tonight Manchester City vs Inter Milan, without Roberto Mancini on the blue bench, he had to come back to Italy because of his father in hospital.
United States snubbed Inter players, I've heard some Italian media supporting Inter saying "it's like an American football team visiting Italy, nobody would notice them"... oh really? so why AC Milan didn't have the same welcome... because we have players as Ronaldinho and we don't steal Champions Leagues.
Those journalists still think Usa don't know what is football calling it 'soccer', but now it's different, in fact the Yankees had a World Cup with a better result than Italy, as also the Confederations Cup.
Monday will be the decisive day for Balotelli at City, his agent Mino Raiola said Mario, snubbed by his team mates, is looking forward to be in Manchester. And tonight he's not playing for any of the two teams.

Liam: no Oasis reunion

LONDON - Some people hate him because they're jealous of the Gallaghers success, shocked just because he says some bad words (they're clearly searching for a reason to accuse him). Only Oasis fans can sometimes get angry with him when there's something wrong, we can 'cause we know him well, but other people insulting him without knowing almost anything, are simply not accepted.
Here's a similar video which email subscribers missed the other day for a Google problem (and also Sky had some problems).

Liam promoting in Milan, Tokyo and New York, music by Andy Bell

LONDON - Pretty Green is now just over a year old. An idea that started as a means to produce custom desert boots has now evolved into a two storey boutique in the heart of London’s West End. The store accommodates floor to ceiling artwork featuring label figurehead Liam Gallagher. The shots overlook the new Black and Green Label Spring/Summer 2010 collections as well as exclusive one off Pretty Green pieces. These include custom ‘Carnaby Street’ T-shirts, desert boots and jeans, which will be available for the first time. The Autumn/Winter 2010 collection will be presented both online and in store in August.

“Everything’s important. Pretty Green, the whole package, it’s the real deal... I’m proud of it.”

There could have only been one home for Pretty Green’s first flagship store; Carnaby Street. Under the stewardship of fashion legend John Stephen, Carnaby Street styled a generation of British youth in the 60’s, creating an image and lifestyle still devoted to by people all over the world. Not simply a tourist spot, Carnaby Street is home to some of the leading high street brands and in 2010 celebrated 50 years as a focal point for fashion, culture and arts in the Capital. Despite having only an online presence until this month, endorsements from leading figures in the world of music, sport, fashion and Hollywood have firmly placed the label in the top rungs of the high end fashion market, and established the label as a central body in men’s fashion, selling to over 80 countries in its first year.

“I’m liking the way it’s expanding...it’s been great and people seem to like it.”

So at number 57 in the south corner of Carnaby Street, sits Pretty Green’s new pop-up store. The ground floor and basement of the 2,000 square foot building displays both the Green and Black Label collections featuring all the major pieces available online. The newest edition to Pretty Green is a range of jeans only available in store with desert boots set to go on sale in August. Upstairs there is a show room for Industry buyers which currently previews the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. On the ground floor customers will find t-shirts, knitwear, jackets, shirts and jeans whilst the larger items such as parkas (both the ivory and camo parkas are on sale) can be found downstairs along with hats, scarves and other accessories. Large prints of Liam hang on the minimalist white walls which haven’t been altered since the space belonged to St Martin’s College or Art and Design, so it feels a bit like an art gallery with a cash register. One point of interest for fans will be the soundtrack; all the music played in-store has been mixed by Andy Bell.

It’s the first time that fans have been able to see the extensive Pretty Green collection which up until now has only been available in select stores. It also provides another point of call for ‘Oasis tourists’ in London. Clothes and music have always been interchangeable and for Liam, and both areas have run together seamlessly during the last year. Liam has travelled to Milan, Tokyo and New York promoting the label as well as preparing a debut album with new band Beady Eye. The new store draws parallels with The Beatles opening the Apple boutique in 1967, and fittingly, Liam will also be involved with turning the memoirs of Apple ‘house hippy’ Richard Di Lello into a film as announced this year.

Other shops in Manchester and Glasgow are rumoured to be open.

Google problem with Feedburner emails

There was again another problem in Google yesterday, this time with their Feedburner, so the emails with the posts were delayed, I dunno at what time did you receive it (and usually at what time? Me at dawn, it should be so, as a newspaper in the morning). And in the mails there weren't two videos, anyway you can find them here on site.

Beckham is not interested in communist West Ham

LOS ANGELES - David Beckham is not interest in moving to the team (supported by Obama too) with communist violent fans, as they were until last August in London, team which was total shite last season as usual, almost relegated (and they would have been even worse without their Italian manager Zola).

Hammers co-owner David Gold has said he wants to sign the 35-year-old and that discussions have taken place with the player's agent.
But a spokesman for David Beckham says he has "no interest" in leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy for West Ham United.
"David is happy at the Los Angeles Galaxy and has no interest in leaving, and is looking forward to returning to the team on August 9."
Beckham is still recovering from the ruptured Achilles tendon that kept him out of the World Cup but believes he will be back to play some part in the remainder of the Galaxy's MLS season.
He is back jogging and running but will have further tests with club doctors next month to determine when he should return to full training.
Beckham is hopeful he could be back in action as early as September allowing him to make a possible return to European football in January - for the past two years he has played for AC Milan for the second half of the season, to be on high levels and then play for England.
Beckham holds the record for the number of England caps by an outfield player - 115 - but will not announce his international retirement and will continue to make himself available to Fabio Capello.

Liam @ Pretty Green store: Beady Eye record will be the best for 50 years

LONDON - Liam Gallagher has told his new band's album will be the "the best record you'll hear for the next 50 years".
The former Oasis star made the bold claim at the launch of the first store dedicated to his best-selling clothing range Pretty Green, in London's famous fashion-mecca Carnaby Street.
"Everything we do isn't a flash in the pan otherwise there's no point in doing it," Gallagher told Sky News.
"I'm not here to sell papers or get a little headline, but if we're gonna do something we are gonna do it proper, whether it's music, film, clothes, drink or whatever it is. We don't fart about."
Liam's new band Beady Eye - which features his Oasis bandmates Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock - have been hard at work on their debut album.
All the songs have been recorded now, but it will still be some time before they are unveiled to the fans.
"It's not gonna be out until next year, " Liam explained.
"We'll probably get a single out October or November, and there's no point in doing gigs if people haven't heard the music. I'm looking forward to it."
Liam says Beady Eye will have a similar Beatles vibe to Oasis, but he is also been heavily influenced by T-Rex, and bizarrely notorious rock 'n' roller Jerry Lee Lewis.
"Without a doubt!" Liam shouts when I mention Lewis' name.
"We have this tune and it was a bit Rolling Stonesy, and I didn't like it. It was slow and boring.
"So we just got on a piano and ****** it up, Jerry Lee style, and stuck a John Lennon vocal on the top. It's good."
Some sneery critics might have been cynical when Liam announced he was launching his own fashion label, but its been a massive success.
The Carnaby Street store is currently just a temporary Pop-up, meaning it will not live forever of course.
Although if it's a success, more permanent dedicated Pretty Green stores will be opened in the capital, as well as Manchester, of course, and Scotland.
Meanwhile, Gallagher's mate Paul Weller is just about to help co-develop some new designs, which seems apt as the name Pretty Green comes from a Jam song.
Liam is also keen to move into women's clothing, though not in a literal sense of course.
"I have my fair share of women's clothes on the weekend," he laughs, "it's nothing new for me. But yeah, we might do a few bits and pieces.
"We're definitely doing some kids stuff man. I'd like to get my kid looking as cool as me. And maybe our Kid (his brother Noel) could get some cos he's a little fella isn't he."
Actually before the mention of Noel, it is easy to forget Liam's former band given how many other projects he is involved in right now.
But do not go thinking they are about to 'do a Take That' and get back together soon.
"We won't be back by the end of the year," Gallagher laughs.
"The only reason why Oasis will come back is when we're ****** skint and I'm far from skint as you can tell and I wont be skint for a long, long ****** time believe me, it ain't gonna be happening."
So there is no Oasis reunion then, but Noel is getting to indulge his Beatles obsession in another way by entering the world of movie-making.
He has been helping produce a new feature film based on the book The Longest Cocktail Party, which told the story of the rise and decline of the Fab Four's company Apple Corps in the late 1960s.
He will not act in it, but will help make the soundtrack, and by all accounts, it is a labour of real love.
"It's a good book and we can't balls it up now so the heat is on," says Liam.
"I'm more worried about getting that book right than getting the clothes right, and my record right. I'm not gonna be in the film but I'm worried about getting it right cos it's other people's lives."

Tevez meeting Noel when nude

MANCHESTER - City star Carlos Tevez (here in a photomontage with the body of Beckham for an Italian Emporio Armani ad) has revealed he met his no.1 fan Noel Gallagher while naked.
The former Oasis guitarist, 43, was invited into the Argentina dressing room after a World Cup game in South Africa.
Noel, who has joked he will name his next kid after the striker (joked in fact he will name him with my name Nelson :), came in as he stepped out of the shower.
Tevez, 26, said: "I went outside with everything out to look for a towel - and in front of me was Gallagher. So I went to greet him, naked."

the moaning ignorant Mourinho still is a pain in the ass: do not buy Balotelli. Mancini: he will be King of England

MADRID - Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has warned Manchester City against signing Mario Balotelli.
The Inter Milan striker is City's main transfer and has been the subject of a £20million bid from City boss Roberto Mancini. They say Mario is gonna be officially a blue citizen in a few hours.
But Mourinho, who coached Balotelli during his spell in charge at Inter, claims the 19-year-old's talent is offset by his poor attitude.
The "Special One" (also called: Special Clown) said: "The guy has incredible qualities, but sometimes does not know how to use his brain.
"Let me give an example of when we played at home in the semi-final of the Champions League against Barcelona and he would not take the field.
"I threw him into the fray and Mario was static, not even giving a hand in defence."

Oh of course Burinho (as "burino", Italian way to call him, usually referring to one from Rome, but here to his ignorance and bad manners showed many times), judging Mario from the game vs Barcelona when you let him play a few minutes and insulted him ("son of a bitch" and so on) at the first wrong pass, so the stadium started to boo and insult Mario, how would you feel... Poor attitude and no use of brain, Special Clown.

On the contrary, Mancini said Balotelli will be the King of England :)

you might as well do the white line: the 2 main Milano clubs temporarily closed for drugs

MILANO - I was writing about Hollywood Club just the other day, adding a video on the right column, and here it is: the best club in Milano, where also stars and football players spend their nights, and also the second one, called The Club, have been temporarily closed because of drugs use, filmed in the toilets, and some people had house arrests. Of course Oasis have nothing to do with this, this is just a pic of Liam there, and the Gallaghers are against drugs since 1998.

this is London: the house is haunted, Kate Moss needs help for a ghost

LONDON - All is ready for the Pretty Green shop opening on Friday (Thursday for family, friends and fucking journalists), on Carnaby Street.

Kate Moss has hired a professional exorcist to cleanse her house. The supermodel - who lives in a plush area of north London with her rocker lover Jamie Hince and her seven-year-old daughter Lyla Grace (heyyyyyyyy Lyla :)) - has reportedly hired a shaman to rid her home of "evil energy" following a sequence of bad luck at the property in recent months. A source revealed to The Sun newspaper: "Jamie is a believer in the supernatural and has persuaded her there is a bad energy in the house which needs to be removed by a shaman priest. "She has found one who will perform a ceremony to cleanse the place." In May, Kate had an original Banksy painting - believed to be worth £80,000 - stolen by burglars while The Kills frontman Jamie and her mother Linda were sleeping. To make matters worse, just days later £100,000 worth of damage was caused when the property was flooded with sewage. A source revealed at the time: "Trouble started following heavy rains at the beginning of May and culminated in her basement flooding and the pump system clogging up. The house is a complete disaster zone, with mud, gunge and sewage everywhere."
no, this time I don't put again the song Oasis+Johnny Depp+Kate Moss,

Milan Berlusconi meeting the sheikh

MILAN - Also Milan making business with sheikhs. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum (who's got 17 sons :), 10 girls and 7 boys), will meet Milan president and Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi in Milan (on 29 also meeting with Milan players at the new Milan Store and presentation of the new shirt) and his company are expected to guarantee the Rossoneri €15m per annum plus eventual bonus.
It's cash that will come in handy for Berlusconi, who last week bemoaned again the fact that he had always fostered grandiose spending at the club, but that had recently slowed down as he tried to create a level playing field on the balance sheet. As part of the deal, Milan will also fly with their new sponsors to all their away Champions League ties next season.

we're all part of Milan Masterplan

MILANO - The new site is here: www.expo2015.org ...down you can also see "Masterplan" :)
I changed the music to a Milan Expo 2015 video on the right column of Oasisblues (a high definition version is on miamilan.com ). It's the new zone where Oasis had to perform their last concert in history... before the "break" of 5 years... strange coincidence, 2015... we're all part of a Masterplan :) (the Italian music is the anthem of North Italy, capital city: Milan, of course, titled "Va pensiero - sull'ali dorate", "Go, thought - on golden wings", by Verdi).
You can see small people, as in Oasis Masterplan video inspired by the great English artist Lowry (City fan), from Manchester zone.

the Expo is mainly about food, and if you make a poll about the best food in the world, the result would be the Italian

Balotelli refused more money and Manchester United, he wants only the Blues

MANCHESTER - Ah! It's 'cause I told him that Man Utd = Juventus ahahaha
He may be loathed at Inter, but Mario Balotelli will be loved in the blue half of Manchester after snubbing Sir Alex Ferguson to join City.
And not only did he shun Fergie, sources close to the striker claim he said no to a bigger pay packet at Old Trafford.
Ferguson was quietly working behind the scenes on a move for Balotelli and was prepared to offer him more than the £65,000-a-week he has agreed with the Blues.
Chelsea also wanted Balotelli and the striker’s decision to join City is a real coup for Roberto Mancini.
Balotelli’s capture will take Mancini’s spending over the £100million mark for this summer, but at least the City boss will save a few bob on the Italian Under-21 star’s wages.
Mancini claims this as proof that Sheikh Mansour’s billions do not make them soft touches in the transfer market.
“There is money to sign everyone, but not to pay them a lot, as some people are saying,” he said.
Mancini was able to sign Balotelli for less than what United were offering because the teenager is so keen to be reunited with his old Inter boss.
Balotelli, soon 20, regards Mancini as a mentor because he helped bring him through at Milan San Siro.
Mancini signed him in 2006 as a 16-year-old and handed him his debut four months later when he had just turned 17 in December 2007 as a substitute against Cagliari.
Mancini, who knew where the back of the net was as a player, could see the youngster’s huge potential and in his second appearance three days later, he scored twice against Reggina in the Coppa Italia.
Super Mario, as he is nicknamed, played a cameo role in Inter’s Serie A title success in 2008 and finished his first campaign with seven goals from 15 appearances.
Balotelli was disappointed by Mancini’s departure that summer and lost his way without his guiding hand.
He had a love-hate relationship with Mancini’s successor Jose Mourinho - they both loved to hate each other - and was axed after one bust-up too many.
For all of his problems, Balotelli still managed 20 goals in 59 Serie A games to prove he is one of the hottest young striking talents in the world.
Unlike Mourinho, Mancini feels he knows how to handle the precocious Balotelli and claims he could become a huge star at City.
“He is one of the four or five strikers that interest us,” he said. “I was the first to believe in him and I’m convinced about what he can do.
“Mario has two qualities that suit us: his talent and his age. And I want people like him who are able to build a cycle of success at Manchester City.”
City’s deal maker Brian Marwood has agreed Balotelli’s transfer in principle with Inter and the last missing piece is the fee.
The Blues claim a figure has yet to be agreed, despite claims in Italy that they will pay an initial £25.1million, rising to £29.3million.
Balotelli seems to think that is a formality and held an impromptu leaving party with his friends at Milan’s trendy Van Gogh restaurant on Saturday night where he told everyone he has agreed a five-year deal worth £65,000-a-week.
His pals unveiled a hastily-made banner, which read ‘Even 1000km away, you’ll always be in our hearts’.
His weird agent Mino Raiola, who is smart as a fox :), who has exasperated City in the negotiations, feels this is premature and claimed yesterday that the transfer had not yet been finalised, even though Inter believe it is a done deal.
“Nothing has been signed between Balotelli and Manchester City,” said Raiola.
Despite Raiola’s attempts to talk down the move, it seems only a matter of time before Balotelli joins Mancini’s blue revolution.
And, ironically, he could make his City debut against Inter in Baltimore on Saturday.

Noel, Mario and Marco moving to Manchester :)))

COMS stadium, eating Italian food :)

MILAN - Noel Gallaga is in London now, Mario Balotelli is in New York now, Marco Zanella is in Milan now :)
(and Paul Wella? :). But, we could all be in Manchester soon. Mario is more likely to live there soon, to play football :).
A few months ago also Noel said he's gonna move to Manchester, "back into the hole where I was born" :), so he said he could see more City games.
I'd like to move there, I know how is the city but but I'd need help anyway, where to go, what to do, etc. Well, for City I would do everything, so today I asked Mario if I can come with him :)
Now he's busy with the Usa tour. He's a funny bloke and good lad, not what they say.
Is there anyone who can help me? :)
I think there are people who would like to do the same, as we have a big team this year.

Paul @ Italian mod festival

TURIN - I waited some days to publish this, so I don't repeat myself too often :). Torino free Traffic festival, organized in that zone where finally right-winged political parties won the elections (that North Italy party with England Saint George cross) as recently in England, Milan and whole Italy. In fact the Mods movement is a very nationalist one, as Quadrophenia director said ('the protagonist Jimmy would have voted BNP'...). I think it's too easy to say "fuck off the politics" when you lose the elections... too easy to say politicians are all the same when those you vote are "the same"...
Paul Weller recent album is a very political one, "Wake up the nation" (I know he used to be more on the "left side", but he doesn't believe much in politicians). Paul was pleased looking at the moon as Paolo Nutini too :) in Milan the other night. In Italian language Paul just said grazie and buonasera :)
There wasn't Noel :), it would have been just a chance. He performed old tunes as well, and of course "Pretty Green" among them. You do something to me, Wild wood, Broken stones (+Happy day :), The changingman, and so on, Jam hits as Start!, and Style Council's too as Shout to the top.

Mancini: you lot are so scared of us

NEW YORK CITY - To watch a nice video of Rob playing with a kid click here.
Oasis fan Roberto Mancini reckons the Premier League's top clubs are running scared of big-spending Manchester City.
The Eastlands outfit took their summer transfer spree to £79million at the weekend by signing Italian Lazio defender Aleksandar Kolarov for £19m.
Figures show City have already spent more than the rest of the top 14 Premier League clubs put together in Mancini's seven months in charge.
Yet the Italian boss shows no sign of stopping either with the likes of James Milner, Mario Balotelli (here's a photomontage with City shirt) and Fernando Torres all on his radar.
Meanwhile, the traditional Big Four and Tottenham have had quiet summers with the new season less than three weeks away.
So Mancini believes the title hopefuls will have to accept there will be another team challenging this season.
He said: "Are they scared? I think so. At the moment only Manchester City are buying players.
"But that is normal because Manchester City want to improve and the other teams are just big teams who would like a lot of people.
"All the other teams are trying to put pressure on us because for 10 years there were only four teams challenging for the title.
"This year, there are five. I think all these teams over the years have spent a lot of money.
"Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool but now City do."
He said: "We have a big opportunity to win the league if we believe in ourselves and do our jobs. We have improved as a team.
"It depends if we can put together a team in the short time available. In my experience, I know after the World Cup in every country there can be a different situation in the league.
"Last year, we fought for a Champions League place until the penultimate game against Tottenham - the aim this year is to try to win the Premier League. That must be our target.
"Football is strange, especially after a World Cup. I wait to make that judgment until the market has closed and the Premier League has started.
"We have improved with new players and have done some good work in the last two weeks. It depends but my feelings are good."
Hugely ambitious billionaire Abu Dhabi owners of the richest club in the world will expect a title challenge and a return on their vast outlay in the very near future.
With their money comes huge pressure - and Mancini, 45, is the bookies' favourite to be the first top-flight manager to go.
But he insists he never feels under threat and said: "I don't get pressure. Before I was a manager, I was a player. I managed Inter Milan for four years - no other manager has been there for that long and Inter won the championship after almost 20 years. I built Inter. There, I had 24 players with different mentalities, strong players, but this is just my job.
"I will be in management another 15 years maybe, I am sure I will win things. This has been my life and I don't feel pressure."
Mancini would love to be the first manager to bring silverware to City's success-starved fans since 1976.
He said: "I would like to win here because we never win. Not for me, because it is just my job.
"But for the supporters and the players because they give everything for this club. For them, I want to win a trophy this year and I think everybody follows this dream.
"In two years at Inter, we became strong but we arrived at that point because we worked hard and went through a lot of difficulty. I hope here will be the same. You can't win if you don't work - even if you buy players.
"You need players with good attitude and mentality. I think this year will be fantastic."
Mancini is pinning his hopes on a good start - on the back of his strict training regime. The double sessions did not go down well in some quarters last season but he warns his stars to expect more of the same.
City have a tough start (14 August) with games against Tottenham and Liverpool up first - but Mancini wants his side in top shape for those battles.
He added: "You have to be patient - that's normal. If you start the season, win, win, win it would be better for the players to understand.
"They can appreciate the work that they have done. That's normal. For a player it is important to work and work well, that is important."
