TURIN - I waited some days to publish this, so I don't repeat myself too often :). Torino free Traffic festival, organized in that zone where finally right-winged political parties won the elections (that North Italy party with England Saint George cross) as recently in England, Milan and whole Italy. In fact the Mods movement is a very nationalist one, as Quadrophenia director said ('the protagonist Jimmy would have voted BNP'...). I think it's too easy to say "fuck off the politics" when you lose the elections... too easy to say politicians are all the same when those you vote are "the same"...
Paul Weller recent album is a very political one, "Wake up the nation" (I know he used to be more on the "left side", but he doesn't believe much in politicians). Paul was pleased looking at the moon as Paolo Nutini too :) in Milan the other night. In Italian language Paul just said grazie and buonasera :)
There wasn't Noel :), it would have been just a chance. He performed old tunes as well, and of course "Pretty Green" among them. You do something to me, Wild wood, Broken stones (+Happy day :), The changingman, and so on, Jam hits as Start!, and Style Council's too as Shout to the top.
