England boss Fabio Capello is reportedly set for a radical shake-up of his backroom staff following their World Cup campaign.
Those set for the axe include Stuart Pearce and Ray Clemence, the two most prominent Englishmen in the current regime.
Sources close to the former Ac Milan and Real Madrid coach claim that he wants to bring in more Italians for his support staff and will press forward for the introduction of a winter break.
Those linked with replacing Pearce and Clemence include former Italy internationals Ac Milan's Mauro Tassotti and Inter Milan's Walter Zenga.

England already have Franco Tancredi to train goalkeepers.
Zenga was a former Italy No.1 goalkeeper (when he played he was appointed Best Goalkeeper in the World, and recently was a good manager), while Tassotti had a glittering playing career for both AC Milan and Italy, winning Champions Leagues and Intercontinental Cups, and is currently assistant manager at San Siro.
No decision has been made on the futures of Pearce and Clemence, both are widely respected within the FA, but look set to face the axe after coming under criticism following the South Africa debacle.
Capello brought up the idea of a winter break following England's return, and will look to push through plans for next season as the fixture lists for the forthcoming season have already been announced.
Julian Eccles, the FA's group director of marketing and communications, declined to comment on Capello's plans. He also refused to comment on the rumours that the new contract the Italian signed ahead of the World Cup was not restructed to be more tax-efficient, with the result being that the Italian's net income will actually rise despite their World Cup experience.
