scandal: Euro 2012 should be in Italy. Uefa voters corruption and Poland can't even organize it

NICOSIA - An Italian government official has called for a judicial investigation into allegations that the 2012 European Championship was corruptly awarded to Poland and Ukraine.
Italy was considered the favorite entering the 2012 vote but Poland and Ukraine won the organization of Euro 2012.
Former Cypriot Football Association official Spyros Marangos alleges that UEFA officials sold the tournament rights for Euro 11 million ($15 million) in 2007 and UEFA (president: the french Platini, photo, who elected - oh strange! - france to host Euro 2016) has threatened Marangos unless he provides proof. Marangos alleged to have evidence of corruption surrounding the appointment and went public with his claims in German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung, saying that justice must be done with Euro 2012 given to Italy.
Among the 12 voters, 4 voted Italy and 4 were paid to vote against, one with €3,15mil and €2mil each the other three, and the money was inside a TEDDY BEAR ! What a sweet asshole.
Italy cabinet undersecretary and sports delegate said that judicial authorities should intervene and that "if crimes emerge they should be prosecuted." He added that Italy would be ready to host Euro 2012 if needed. Ukraine can barely host this international event, Poland is still building the roads... In some years also the hotels, stations, airports and regular stadiums, definitely maybe.

if Marangos knows so precise things, there's surely something behind...

another Anonymous coward wrote "have you ever been to Poland? you present it as it doesnt has all those things ... Dont be ignorant!"
Of course we've been to Poland many times and Poland is even worse than this. Crumbling, dilapidated, scruffy, tumbledown, communist infrastructures. Poland itself admits they could not be able to host it, 'cause THEY say they are building roads, hotels, airports, etc.
So he should first know people before calling them ignorant.

24 August 2010:
WARSAW - Poland's top auditor says the country is BEHIND on preparations to co-host the 2012 European Championship.
The Supreme Chamber of Control says that half of the projects that it has examined are not on schedule. The chamber says some projects will probably not be ready before the start of Euro 2012, which Poland is to co-host with Ukraine.
The head of the chamber, Jacek Jezierski, says the biggest delays are in the building of roads, train stations, airports and rail lines.
Poland, an ex-communist country that joined the European Union in 2004, is still burdened by aging train stations and other infrastructure and a near lack of modern highways.

Poland is such a shitty country and could host just the Freezed Fishing on the lakes.

Andrea said...

it's cool that people defending Poland are always anonymous... that says a lot. They always speak so well of their country (they speak well ONLY about their country), but then we always see them going to live everywhere in the world. That also says a lot.

Piolo77 said...

maybe the Anonymous was fishing on holidays in Poland and missed some news 'cause the radio signal was not working there

Andrea said...

rumours say Poland can't build anything more 'cause all the money is busy in paying the voters to host Euro 2020, 2024, 2028...

the usual Anonymous Polish Great Man wrote again insulting Italy, saying Italians are racist and then himself saying racist stereotypes against Italians.
He also said Italians think it's always bribery/ conspiracy: IT IS. Probably you missed the news:

I wish Italians were racist, unfortunately they aren't. People should be racist against anonymous cowards, they're such clowns.
My mafia family got the Anonymous IP address and prepare a good "lazy" work for his asshole, then he will cry as the whiny bitch he is.

Piolo77 said...

the Anonymous is really naive..must be a teenage wanker.
He didnt realize yet, that football IS money.

M77 said...

communists against Berlusconi as the Anonymous are naive. They're such ignorant people, speaking about other countries by reading what TABLOIDS say... poor idiots, jealous as fuck

Andrea said...

again the Anonymous Polish immigrant in England?
what an ignorant. "The level of their journalism is ridiculed all over Europe": never heard.
In Italy there are great journalists, the best one was Indro Montanelli, and the Anonymous is so ignorant he can only dream of knowing something about the people here. He surely doesn't even know about the writers and the fathers of literature. The Anonymous should also ask himself why in so many languages, English and Polish included, there are so many words similar to Italian... without Italians you were nothing.
Now go back to your great journalism: the tabloids hahahahahahaha with their scandals, a load of junk for anonymous rubbish people.

Vanessa87 said...

as Marco says, Italian is not a nationality but a compliment. That sad anonymous was insulting the Italian part in himself. He surely doesn't have an Italian part. Must be a shitty person

what a stupid and racist message from the communist Mister Anonymous. He doesn't know it's all about cheating with money... that says a lot about communists, trying to become rich hiding their cheatings...

Luka77 said...

Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022: now Mister Anonymous will have noticed more that it's all about money... all the world has seen the bitches @ football power they are.
