The audience were instead treated to a set of mainly unknown tracks from his new "band" High Flying Birds. Unhappy about this the crowd according to The National started to ask for his brother Liam Gallagher (already happened last year during the tour) and for Noel to ‘play something they know’. Continuing with his set he played Oasis B-side ‘(It’s Good) To Be Free’ but stuck to NHFB songs throughout which included single ‘If I had a Gun’ and ‘The Death of You and Me’.
Noel finished off the unpopular set with an apparently half hearted version of ‘Half the World Away’ before an encore of ‘Shout it Out Loud’, ‘Digsy’s Dinner’ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ by which time half the audience had left (already happened last year during the tour).
These things never happened with Beady Eye. Also, no gigs interrupted as @ Noel's gigs and Justin Bieber's gigs.
Noel Gallagher is of course known for his erratic behaviour and opinions, having announced his plan to play one of The Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, he let rip on the people that turned him down like the A Team singer Ed Sheeran and folk band Mumford and Sons saying to the press ‘I got let down a lot. Everybody says yes to your face. And then the agent will call and say, ‘Ah, they’re going to be in Australia at the time.’ Really? Well they never said that to me.’
Sheeran replied: "I actually told him I would do the gig whenever he wanted, but the week they were planned I was in Australia with gigs already booked and sold out".
Another British favourite is also set to play the sunny climate of Dubai this year, redheaded Florence and the Machine will play the famous Sandance Festival in May. The gig is billed to be the only performance of the band this year as they take a break from touring to produce their third album.
Meanwhile, the usual The Sun full of bullshit referred to Noel as "Oasis", and even "Oasis men", plural.
Also, he had repeated a thousand times the Turds would have disbanded last November, and they're still annoying around.
