derby war City vs United for 'Oasis' bad boy, Milan's Mario Balotelli

MILANO - Balotelli in Milano today

I've spoken again to Mario today, I told him to come to City and why. We are the perfect team for him. But he's a "mad head", I don't know if he will listen.

Manchester City (today they were here in Milan for Balotelli) and Manchester United have expressed "concrete" interest in £33.5 million-rated Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli (nickname: SuperMario), according to his agent Mino Raiola.

(but United are not so rich...)

Balotelli, 20 years old in August, has cut a controversial figure at the San Siro despite his undoubted ability (even Oasis' Liam Gallagher said he wants him to play for City).
Although he has fallen out regularly with the club's supporters and ex-head coach Jose Mourinho, his goals in all competitions last season have ignited the interest in the player.

Raiola confirmed the Manchester rivals are set to fight it out for the Italy international's signature (he's now the main player in the new Italian national team), who has courted further headlines in Italy by ending his membership of the Italian players' union.
"Balotelli will not be signed anymore with the AIC [the Italian players' association]. This does not mean Balotelli will leave Inter for sure, it depends on Inter.
"Anyway, there have been good offers by Man Utd and City. And also a possible future in Spain has to be considered.
"The interest in Manchester is real, and both clubs confirmed this. Balotelli is pleased that [Sir Alex] Ferguson is chasing him, but we cannot exclude that he will stay at Inter or join a different club.
"We will move calmly and evaluate the situations step by step."
When the new Inter coach, former Liverpool, the Spanish Rafael Benitez was quizzed on the player’s future, he said: "He is an important player. We will see."

Raiola also went on to state that Barcelona centre forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic could have a reunion with Roberto Mancini at Eastlands. But there's also Ac Milan interested in him.
