Beatles, Rolling Stones, Oasis to play @ London 2012

LONDON - As anticipated in 2010 (October), the Beatles (I mean Paul McCartney + Ringo Starr) and the Rolling Stones (it's their last tour this year, for their 50th anniversary) will play @ London 2012 Olympic Games, probably for the closing ceremony (12 August).
I would love Led Zeppelin too, but it's very difficult.
As venues, there are Wembley, Wimbledon (must visit, for the female tennis players, lol), Oasis' legendary Earls Court, and even, as you probably know, United Old Trafford in Manchester (but I would avoid that, if not for winning the derby 1-6 with Mario Balotelli ;).
You also already know that Liam's Beady Eye are only playing festivals this year (in the summer), and Noel Gallagher is around during the summer, so they will probably be added to the Olympic Games shows.

Malaysia GP: storm on the way

SEPANG - You remember the mod style rules for Pretty Green: sunglasses need to be large, round and plastic.

I would never stop races... even if it snowed (then Massa would win ahaha). I wouldn't even use safety cars. It should be a surviving challenge. I know I'm an irresponsible :)
Jenson "Batman" was eating Italian pasta (penne al pomodoro) before the race started again (too much power... he then crashed against Karthikeyan). You remember last year pasta gave him super-powers for a great race when he had fever.
Congratulations to Ferrari, even if it seemed just a random win.
My friends want to go to the Belgian Gp... YOU go there... it could be legendary and all, but it always rains there. A place for Noel Gallagher "not caring for the sunshine"...

MILAN - Mission: impossible, 4 days to the Big Match, the best club in history VS the best club today (18 vs 17 international trophies). Two games as these in 6 days is great football.

AC Milan scored 4 goals in 2 games vs Barcelona recently, that is one of the best teams in football history (we're gonna realise it when we'll be old) with Messi one of the best players in football history, despite this Milan is not one of the best Milan in history. 
If this Barcelona is in a good night, they could score a 5-0 vs anyone. They will try everything to win the Champions League, 'cause they probably won't win their national league.

Messi scored his FIRST goal against an Italian team only last November... 
(only on a strange penalty conceded, that he even had to repeat) 
and he had to get a red card for a bad foul, 
'cause he had already had a yellow one. He was very nervous...
Barcelona played better (but Milan on similar levels) but they had a result thanks to that penalty and an own goal by Milan.
Of course he's a great player, but if he played in Italy, without a team playing for him, he would score less goals and should be careful with injuries, as defences are better.
Unfortunately, we have the first game at home (San Siro), which is a big advantage for Barcelona, playing @ their Camp Nou the final one.
Guardiola, before the draw, said he wanted to avoid Milan, 
so they're not happy with this... 

UPDATE: AC Milan didn't concede Milanello to Barcelona for a training on 29, but said they could help them to find a pitch in Milan.

It's where we organized meetings with the players, Ronaldinho (today his birthday), etc. and Beckham was throwing balls to me ;)
We'll visit Messi ;)

UPDATE: AC Milan didn't concede Milanello, but said they could help Barcelona to find a pitch in Milan.

Australia GP: Button dominating


MELBOURNE - Jenson! 
Button won the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. 
Brief summary: great start with Jenson immediately leading, and Hamilton losing the first position. For about 40 laps, Jenson had about 10 and more seconds of advantage, he was extremely fast. Schumacher was 3rd but retired for a problem with the gears (different gear, not speeding). 20 laps to the end: safety car. When the race started again, Jenson immediately gained 3 seconds to Vettel 2nd, who was still not perfect. 
Hamilton lost a lot of seconds and at the end was almost battling with Webber 4th.
Next race: Malaysia, in 5 days.

Liam Gallagher brought Oasis songs to life

MILAN - Model: Hollie.
Some conversations about Beady Eye playing Oasis are really pointless...
according to many websites, Liam insulted his own fans (!!!) because they don't want Oasis songs (!!)
...the truth, as always, is the opposite (they must have learned from Noel...), that is:
Oasis HATERS (particularly, Liam haters) insulted him, this time for playing Oasis songs
when:
Beady Eye are made of 4/5 of Oasis,
they contributed not only in writing, but also performing and making them successful,
Liam, singing them, brought them to life (we wouldn't even know them, as I had already explained),
Liam had already said they were going to play some in the next tour (of course haters don't follow anything about them).

Have you noticed that Noel never says the name "Liam" in the interviews... usually he says "my brother", but of course not saying nice things... that's a meaningful difference... In a few words: what a scaredy cat.

Listening to a funny conversation on the new English Sky Sports F1 (this year we don't watch F1 on Italian tv... maybe) with Hill and Mansell.
Hill said something like: If you don't come from Italy so your name is not something like Bandini, but you're from Birmingham or your name is Hill, you don't sound exotic and the people find it hard to believe in you, lol.
Mansell said nice things about the Italian Patrese, his team mate @ Williams at those times.


Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls
let's go on with other girls called with a name starting with the letter M.
Mina, I met her @ East End studios in Milan, when we met Richard Ashcroft (same place where we met Beady Eye last March, 3 times). She was studying physics at university, prettiest girl ever, we spent a great day together, but "at the end of the day" she had a boyfriend, a fat one wearing an absurd pullover, colour: wine.
It was the proof that love not only has no age, but it's also blind.
Just like Noel blinded fans.


Oasis @ Knebworth 1996 with John Squire of the Stone Roses
10-11 August, nights of the falling stars...as Alan said: that's where Oasis should have ended (and maybe their best ended).
I was also @ Oasis in Milan 1997 (best fun ever, "flying" over the people), there were the Seahorses as support band (Liam wrote "Love Me and Leave Me" for them), with John Squire.
I was in the central part with my friends and at the first chord all the people moved suddenly and in one second I found myself almost on the front, jumping embraced to people I didn't know. My friends found me at the end, totally soaked. We still have a tape. Unforgettable


The Healers by the Smiths' Johnny Marr (Noel's idol...at this point: one of many), another band supporting Oasis in Milan, 30 May 2000, the first "Beady Eye" gig, because it was the first one without Noel.
Noel left the band (for the second of 3 times) and the band was going on (tour) anyway without him, they played gigs for months (Gem lead guitar and Matt Deighton second guitar), also going to Hungary and Poland for the first time, in the summer.

Britalian Paolo Nutini @ Villa Arconati

MILAN - Driving an Italian mod Vespa. He will be @ Villa Arconati festival. Also confirmed for the Pistoia Blues festival, back to his beautiful Toscana near Florence. Places of my "threesomes" lol with "them English girls"... one called Noel said "everybody hates them", so someone had to love them :P
For the "Perfect Day festval", all the bands announced soon. 31 August: the Killers. 1 September: Franz Ferdinand (very funny, dancing as in a disco), 2: Sigur Ros. The Killers could be also @ Milano Arena Music 2012, new name for the ex Milano Jazzin' Festival... the city of Milan is not giving money for this event...how strange with the new communist mayor eh... Noel Gallagher would say: "him fucking communist", lol).
The Perfect Day festival is @ Castello Scaligero castle in Villafranca near Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet city Verona. Paolo will be there but on 20 July.

we're always on the front row, they even come from abroad to see him also because here they can meet him. At this one there was a girl with a sign (not "Noel or die" lol) but "Paolo marry me, I'm twenty-three". She was a very ugly one (lol) and with that sign she was blocking the sight for the girls behind. At a certain point I shouted: he won't fucking marry you!!!!!!!!!

Liam Gallagher the traveller: pizza and spaghetti, out of this world

LONDON - Notes from a traveller.
Ireland
When I was younger, we were always dragged to Ireland kicking and screaming for our holidays as me is from County Mayo. It was good hanging out with my cousins on tractors in the countryside. There wasn't much else to do.
Disneyland 
At heart I'm a big kid and visit Disneyland every year. I'm not into roller coasters - they freak me out. My favourite ride is Soarin', which has a huge screen and movies are projected round you as if you're hang-gliding over the San Francisco bridge.
Buenos Aires
El Monumental, the football stadium of the River Plate in Argentina, has to be one of the most atmospheric places I've ever played a gig. It was just mental. There were 60,000 kids screaming, dancing and singing along.
near Milano
Villa d'Este in Lake Como, Italy is one of my favourite places to visit with the misses - we just mess about on boats. The food is mega: pizza and spaghetti bolognese, which is out of this world. The Black Cat (ll Gatto Nero) has great views overlooking the lake.

England
Henley-on-Thames has a good little vibe to it - it's picturesque and there are lots of young people there. Oasis used to record round the corner so we'd go out for a beer after recording, head through Marlow and think, 'This is nice'. I've got a place for Henley by the river and every time I visit it's like going on holiday.
Switzerland
If I had to choose between sun and snow it would be snow. I like the cold seasons and could never spend Christmas in a hot country. Extreme weather sports are not for me. Once someone convinced me to go on skis in Switzerland. Going downhill was a nightmare and I may have fallen over a few times [lol, me the same]. Afterwards, I couldn't walk for a month.
London
Carnaby Street in the 1960's is the inspiration for my clothing range Pretty Green. All the bands who've records I bought over the years - the Beatles, the Stones and the Kinks - would pick up their clothes in that part of London and mooch about there. I've tried to capture that personality and rock 'n' roll vibe while at the same time offering something that feels modern and cool.

MILAN - Lol. Today's the day of the "people missing"... yes, because Noel the clown "IT" killed'em all...

when we were soldiers, at the seaside, the first night out we went to the pizzeria "Bella Napoli" :) and waiting at the door there was the waitress, Monica, from Czech Republic (ok you already understood, lol... I mean she was beautiful). Pity it's not here my bodyguard Pippo, he would laugh (well he wouldn't, 'cause he can't speak English :). You know how it is, if you ever tried it: falling in love at first sight (I mean with Monica, not Pippo ahaha), looking at each other for an endless time, taking your breath away. But, after some minutes, she wanted to offer us some "bamba", lol (cocaine)


Sandra, Maria Magdalena

My best friend the one same as Noel (or was it Noel?) made me know a Polish "Barbie" doll called Magda, he had known her in Brighton... (not to mention the mayhem she caused, 'cause someone I know here is reading). When she was dancing in the discos here, everybody was very interested in looking at her (girls included, lol), she was something never seen, the way she moved. When I went to Poland, 18 hours driving (it was worth, lol), in Austria we had to pay a fine for speeding (different gear, still speeding), probably it will happen the same if police catch us making love open air in Fucking, Austria ahaha. She was quite a "moaning bitch"...Noel, you know what I mean...


Santana, Maria Maria

this one because of a girl called Maria from Hungary, very cute, blonde with blue eyes, she came to visit me and Milan for some days, she didn't even know me, just "by fame" :). She wasn't a scaredy cat as Noel, that's what girls should do... I'm not IT the killer-clown, lol.
And she told me I was the double of Ringo Starr, lol (probably not a compliment, just to laugh).
I didn't keep a contact with her because at that time a German girl didn't allow me... girls decide everything :)

I still have to prepare the 60s compilation with the Italian songs inspired by the Beatles (you remember my posts, I noticed the people are very interested in those things).
This one reminds me of when I was a little kid (in the the 80s, not 60s) and at the seaside in Pietra Ligure I was in love with a girl much older than me (...this must be new, lol... but this wasn't one looking like a star in a Jaguar, too young :), she was about 14 years old (very old, lol). Maria Elena from Torino, she was something incredible... I still remember very well, an amazing beauty, with freckles on her face, tall, all tanned, she walked in a way as on a fashion catwalk, drying her hair with a towel, it was a shock... (another shock of the lightning from the childhood, but this one didn't flash anything, as Patsy Kensit lol)...it would be amazing to find her... she's probably an old woman now ahaha probably had become a model or someone

The jealous ones criticizing Zlatan (usually from England, they don't get his way of playing) for Arsenal-Milan, don't know much about football...and have a short memory (e.g. great game and his assists @ 1st leg). Even in a bad day (with a team gone to London too relaxed, without caring), he played as defender and midfielder too, with a good second half. He won't win the Golden Ball this year, 'cause Milan won't win the Champions League this year, and Sweden won't win Euro 2012, but he's a great player, looks like Gulliver playing among midgets. After all, for AC it was only a bad first half. At the end of the game, AC even had better statistics (ball possession, passes, successful passes, less fouls 21-7, etc.). Mistakes in defence and easy chances failed when attacking. We had too many injured players (about 15), even had to put 2 goalkeepers on the bench: next year we should change something with the training. We even have to put 3 forwards, Zlatan - City's Robinho - El Shaarawy, as if we were the ones who had to win. But a lesson to learn: never have pity for the enemy...  (for the N-M-E too :), should have won 7-0 @ San Siro. We are too good people... just like Oasis, at the end of the day ;). And wake up in England, you're not at home there, as you may think :). Luckily, an useless match.

I-Day festival 2012: Beady Eye, Stone Roses, the Italian Knebworth :)

BOLOGNA - all the bands announced soon (next week), probably Franz Ferdinand too. There should be Liam Gallagher's band with the new album and the Stone Roses. The I-Day festival 2009 (Milan) was the one where Oasis had to perform their last gig ever...but Noel Gallagher left the band two days before.
There were Kasabian, Kooks, Deep Purple, etc.

Both of them deserve to win the leagues, Milan also because of the ghost goal, City for always leading and beating records. It'll be probably decided at last, because cheating Juventus & cheating Man Utd are close.

1) it seems a blind man looking at this, with a blurred sight. The referee was "dressed" as a blind man with sunglasses, white stick and a dog ahahaha...
2) the line wasn't straight
3) he was looking in another direction... the world has seen it, he hasn't... and it's his job...

5) there was the Argentinian Belén Rodríguez in Italy showing her butterfly pussy @ last Sanremo music festival, so he couldn't see...

After the ghost goal not given to AC Milan, it seems (seems, again) that Blatter wants to do something (as he "wanted" after the ghost goal for England but then didn't do anything) and put technology in football.

Footy goal-line technology moved a step closer today after two possible systems were given the thumbs up.
Dodgy ref decisions - like Frank Lampard's disallowed 2012 World Cup 'ghost' strike - could be a thing of the past if they pass the next round of tests.
One is the British built Hawk-Eye - successfully used in cricket and tennis.
The other is the German GoalRef device which uses a magnetic field and a special ball.
There will be more rigorous checks in July and then the best would have to be approved by soccer law-makers.
If the International Football Association Board did agree it would be too late for next season.
Instead it could be used for the first time at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The out-of-touch chief was opposed to it after Lampard's infamous goal that never was against Germany in South Africa.
Now he is now trying to convince traditionalists UEFA boss Michel Platini and FIFA's Franz Beckenbauer saying he'd "die" if there was another high-profile balls-up.
"We don't want a repeat of last World Cup," Blatter said.
"I think I can convince the IFAB board that we must go forward with technology, we cannot afford to just wait and see what happens.
"Platini doesn't want it but I wouldn't be again in a World Cup and witness another situation - I would die."
FA general secretary Alex Horne, said: "It's an important step forward for us but it is important that we do test it for failure.
"It must be accurate otherwise it won't be worth having."

For going around we were still using a tour bus, and as it was our first time there, we had a big surprise when a bus full of British people overtook us, all of them smiling and waving their hands but suddenly they turned and showed us their arses ahahaha

I was at 3 Oasis gigs in 1 month, even climbing the Italian Alps, highest European mountains, and arriving first in Switzerland, my last Oasis gig, seen it on the front row in front of Noel winking an eye at me ;) (and Glasvegas did the same) playing as in room for me and two Swiss birds lol, the "veline" :))

At a 1997 gig after the first chord of 'Be here now' I was literally flying, gone fuckin' mad fer it, continuously shouting and jumping embraced with all the people. Best fun of my life.
