MILAN - Not the first but second one in Milan. As Alan McGee I barely remember the early Oasis, though I'm not old as him, lol. Barely not because we didn't like them of course, we were already huge fans. Many years have passed, and many drinks as well :), I remember something in England in '94. About '96 we were going out at night singing Oasis in the car and it was a great feeling. The one who used to be my best friend, he was older and very similar to Noel for the clothes and way of behaving, totally crazy, also same strange shoes and same eyes closed as Noel, especially when they were drinking (that is: always, lol), he was an Oasis fan, into football press and very rich, organizing prizes with Paul McCartney etc. when I met Paul, and this guy had a difficult relationship with cars, as Noel, and often lost his driving license so I had to drive even if I didn't have it yet lol (neither the girls), I wanted to finish the school before, and the police stopped us and didn't check that but only the car stuff, and my friend had a bottle of wine in his hands, but incredibly for the police we were ok. Maybe we had vip faces :). I didn't have a fringe hairstyle yet but strange hair and glasses (not sunglasses) as Liam. My friend was ugly, I was the good-looking one. So we were Noel and Liam lol.
Another time at the end of a gig, there was me driving his car (wow this is new :), because he lost the driving license (new!) and of course we spent the night drinking, and I hit another car in a funny way, and all the boys went out to come towards us, and I was clearly wrong, it was my fault, but my (first) girl, who was my Patsy Kensit :), really a blonde sex bomb, his father had an Oasis-Man City Jaguar :), was always very aggressive when she got angry and started to shout against them and they immediately went away. The scene was funny also because of my Noel who instead of driving his car he was sleeping behind and the only thing he did was to step out of the car and write the plate number of the other car (as a policeman) as though it was not our fault but theirs. Why? He said his father would have thought about them, in a mafia style ahaha They really loved me and did everything for me. We were invincible. Stay young and invincible.

I miss those crazy times, they were the exact contrary of now. One of these first gigs here had to be in a disco called Rolling Stone, but there were already many people who wanted to see them (in these 13 videos you can hear the people were already enthusiastic here) so they changed venue, Palalido, near San Siro stadium. We didn't use to film or photograph, we just enjoyed the gigs we were going to. Also this is the contrary of nowadays shows, where people seem to go to gigs just to record everything. In these videos you can hear a restless Liam with a still great voice. These gigs were before the legendary Maine Road and Knebworth concerts and the '95 one before the Earls Court.
minute 4:04, Liam sending a kiss, rare! :)
