the Britalian Milan site for pure Beady Eye, Pretty Green, Oasis, and City fans

from the gigography: Milan 2000, Noeless

special guest was one of Johnny Marr's (The Smiths) bands, The Healers (with Zak Starkey)

the first concert in Oasis history without Noel

I added other things in the previous post about Alcatraz. Here's another "amarcord", that means "memory", name from a movie by Federico Fellini (in his dialect, ="I remember" :).
And it's another gig in May, as that one at Alcatraz.
This was the first concert in Oasis history without Noel (since Noel joined the band, apart from the Rain), another strange coincidence, always in Milan, as the last one had to be.
Also next tour will be without Noel ehehehe, as we all know. But it seems that Liam and the band cannot perform all the songs written by Noel, and also use the name Oasis, there would be a problem of copyright, royalties, etc., Noel would have to get money.
In those days, May 2000, in Barcelona, Alan White had problems with his arm, so they had to cancel a gig and all the french concerts. They spent the night drinking, the brothers had a fight and Liam made a comment towards Meg, Noel's former wife, doubting Anais was really Noel's daughter, lol. Noel left the band (as in 1994 and 2009...) and in those days went to Ibiza where he met Sara...
In Milan @ Assago FilaForum there was another guitarist, Matt Deighton, and it was the first time live in Italy for Gem and Andy. Gem was the lead guitar in the place of Noel, Matt the rhythm guitar.
In Acquiesce (dedicated to Our Kid) Liam let the crowd sing the Noel's parts.
About personal anecdotes: in this one I met a funny boy from Rome and two girls from Verona, that is the city of Shakespeare's Romeo&Juliet, in fact one was called Juliet ^_^, and it's a nice tale but also a fake story, those characters never existed, as a fake one of those girls turned out to be...

Oasis members graph: called Oasis since Noel joined the band, but he left some times...

Champagne Supernova. At those times there were still lighters, and a few cellphones...

Acquiesce. Nice gesture by Liam in the second chorus with the microphone...
