Mancini: Balotelli is a problem? Not more than Bellamy & Tevez

MANCHESTER - He was laughing about that, 'cause we already have players with 'mad' characters. Besides, Roberto said he had no problems with Robinho.
sign me!! :))
City boss Roberto Mancini is "hopeful" of adding Inter Milan's Mario Balotelli and Aston Villa's England midfielder James Milner to his squad.
City have been linked with the pair all summer although Mancini cautioned the Blues "would not pay too high a price" for Italian striker Balotelli, 19.
"We are speaking with Inter and we will try to get an agreement," he added of the proposed Balotelli switch.
And Mancini revealed he will shortly meet with Robinho over his City future.
Robinho, who cost a British transfer record £32.4m when he arrived from Real Madrid in 2008, has just completed a six-month loan spell in his native Brazil with Santos.
Despite Robinho suggesting that he is keen to remain in Brazil, it is unlikely that Santos could afford to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent deal.
"I worked with him for one month, then he decided to go back to Brazil. He said he wanted to stay at home so he could prepare to play for Brazil at the World Cup," added Mancini.
"There was no pressure from me but now I must speak with him because it is very difficult for him to stay at Santos."
Mancini, though, played down suggestions that Robinho could be used as a makeweight in City's attempts to capture Balotelli.
"We want to improve and we want to improve quickly - for this reason we have to buy," added the 45-year-old, whose cash-rich employers have already splashed out for Spanish star David Silva (£24m from Valencia), Ivory Coast's Yaya Toure (£24 from Barcelona), German international defender Jerome Boateng (undisclosed fee from Hamburg, while Ac Milan now buying his brother Kevin-Prince), and Serbian left-back Aleksander Kolarov (£16m from Lazio).
Mancini also conceded there is pressure on City to sell, with attackers Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy, midfielder Stephen Ireland, as well as England Under-21 defender Nedum Onuoha all consistently linked with Eastlands exits.
"From 31 August [when the transfer window shuts] we can only have 25 players and at the moment I think we have 31. But it is a problem also for the other teams."
Mancini, however, rubbished rumours (from Daily Mirror) Emmanuel Adebayor could be part of any late summer clear-out at the club after the Togo striker was reported to want a move to Italian Juventus.
"The things about Emmanuel are not true," said Mancini. "Absolutely not."
Yesterday Ade looked very happy at City stadium.
