Vieira: Mario is the ideal signing. Tevez: City can win the title with Mancini

LONDON - Tonight in England Mario Balotelli playing his first game for Italy (not U21s), he's gonna have the number 9.
Prandelli & Balotelli
Patrick Vieira insists his former Inter Milan team-mate Mario Balotelli will be worth the wait for Manchester City.
The clubs are haggling over a fee with Inter wanting £30million for Balotelli, 20 years old on Thursday (proably the day of his transfer).
City midfielder Vieira said: "He is young and talented. That's good for the future. He is a really exciting player. He is similar to Craig Bellamy and Carlos Tevez. Players have their own temperament and their own way of behaving. But what is important is that everything a player has to do, he does it for the football club. He is a good goalscorer who makes scoring goals look easy. He doesn't need five chances to score a goal."

For the future? Mario is good for now.

CARLOS TEVEZ believes Manchester City can win the Premier League title this season.
City finished 5th last term but the Argentina striker thinks they are ready to take a giant leap forward.
Boss Roberto Mancini has invested £75million in the squad this summer, bringing in Jerome Boateng, David Silva, Yaya Toure and Aleksandar Kolarov.
And he is still pursuing Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli and Aston Villa midfielder James Milner.
Tevez expects this season's title battle to be a five-way race between the established Big Four of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool plus City.
He said: "I can say for certain that the winner will be one of these teams.
"Our aim should be to improve bit by bit, but we know we must fight for the title.
"The same teams will be there and even though we have brought in new players, other clubs will match us.
"We are right up there with them. We have strengthened and we are stronger.
"There is no great difference between all the top teams now. We'll see whether we are good enough.
"I hope we improve on last season and can challenge for the title right to the end. That's what we want.
"But the first challenge is to qualify for the Champions League. I hope it won't escape us this time."
Despite rumours about discontent within the squad over Mancini last season, Tevez has backed the Italian to lead City to their first Premier title.
He added: "I think he will make history with this team, if we have some luck on the pitch.
"Five years is a long way off, but I think we will have won the league title by that time."

Liverpool among the Big Four? They finished 7th, Tottenham is the 4th.
