MANCHESTER - The usual Green Day idiot fans, who don't know anything about Oasis and can only steal songs, claimed Oasis never wrote a song about drugs. Not only they did, but the Gallaghers often said to stay away from drugs. Noel quit using drugs on 5 June 1998, and he did it by himself, while Liam needed help.Green Gay fans first complained about Oasis using drugs, while those people are the drugs themselves, then claimed there's nothing wrong, so you can imagine in which state of mind they find themselves, and not sure of their own sexuality speaking about sexuality of people they don't know on the internet.
Gas Panic (1999) is a song clearly against drugs. It's pretty blatantly obvious that it's about a drug habit, especially when Liam dedicates it to druggies every time. Noel Gallagher told Q magazine June 2009 that the lyrics for this song were inspired by the serious panic attacks he was having from the prescription drugs that he was taking at the time. At many Oasis concerts Liam Gallagher refers to this song being "One fer the potheads". He dedicates it to potheads because the song is about kicking the drugs habit. This is probably one of the best rock songs ever written, composed, recorded and performed... both Liam and Noel versions.
