gossip: Taylor Momsen, Paul Weller and Oasis back in 5 years

LONDON - No it's not about Paul flirting with Taylor, as I was writing about him always dating girls of less than half his age. The American actress Taylor Momsen, also singer of The Pretty Reckless band, spoke on her hope to reunite Oasis brothers Liam and Noel. ‘I am just their biggest fan and I want to support them one day on tour, so I hope they come back,’ the "Make me wanna die" singer said.

She played an ode to the Mancunian lads, covering their hits in an acoustic set on Saturday at V Festival.

Grant Nicholas from Feeder says he was in the studio next door to Liam Gallagher last week and described the Manc's new material as much heavier and rockier the Oasis.
He said he's mates with both Liam and Noel and reckons they'll get back together in 5 years.

Other rumours say ("a source said", lol) that The Sand Band, from Liverpool, will be Noel's band for his solo album and tour. And Noel agreed with the Royal Albert Hall to start his tour from there, as for the 2 nights last March. At least him or Liam or Oasis in 5 years should start from where they had to end, Milan. I got a feeling you still owe me :)

During this backstage interview with Absolute Radio's Geoff Lloyd, Paul Weller reveals that he's turned down an MBE. The Modfather looks back at past festivals, including the first V Festival. He tells Geoff that they've changed because people just want to hear the greatest hits.
Weller also explains how he's been hit by loads of thrown objects and even admits to having lost it with members of the public! When asked about his Mercury Prize nomination, Weller tells Geoff that the award normally goes to someone who nobody has ever heard of, so he's doubtful that he'll win.
The Gallagher brothers also get a mention during the interview as Weller has hired Noel Gallagher as his drummer on some new material he's working on! (I knew it was him)
The former Jam star also says that he's visited Liam's shop and was going to be wearing a Pretty Green jacket on stage last night.
