the Britalian Milan site for pure Beady Eye, Pretty Green, Oasis, and City fans

13 years ago: 21 August. 1 year ago: 28 August

LONDON - On 21 August 1997 Oasis 3rd album 'Be here now' was released, memorable day written also on the album cover image. Sometimes you might find '26 August', 'cause the release day changed and they turned it to 21.
Last year there was another famous day in August, the 28th when Oasis split in Paris. So in those days we were very excited in Milan waiting for the last concert ever, before a rumoured 5-year break. Enough said about that. Green Gay fans are even happy Oasis split up and laugh about this as the idiots they are. Oh so are we... happy 'cause now we'll have double albums and double tours. A lot to laugh for us. The Gallaghers are still quite young, still have energy for their gigs, and Liam was running out of voice 'cause the last tour was very long and double, I went to 3 gigs in a month and waiting for the 4th, back again in Milan, the last one in history. Them fake Oasis fans said to be angry for the missing gig, but real Oasis fans are not angry for a missing concert, 'cause we always went to many, travelling all around. When there was a problem in a gig, no problem for us, see you at the next one. In England they even gave money back, though they performed anyway and there were just some technical problem. Idiocy has no limits: Green Day-fake Oasis fans even complained about Liam leaving the stage @ the Italian Heineken 2005 Festival when he had some problem with a microphone and his voice, and so he got angry... If you've gone to a festival, you don't see 1 band. So, complaining about a singer is ridiculous, and the people there should consider themselves lucky for having seen a rare gig, with Noel singing some songs at the end. If you like 'so much' a band, then go to their own gig, and not always and only to 'discount festivals', fucking 17 bands at the price of one.
I think Heineken Festivals are rubbish, hey sorry Man City sponsor, lol. Because here they are in zones I dislike, I mean the people, provincial people from the countryside who drink and get drugs annoying other people to be the "hero of the day". Of course many come from other places but the festival itself is usually not well organized (of course not as the so-many-gigs in Milan), in fact something wrong always happens. So, Liam, well done for leaving that stage!
