GoldenBal: le befane witches...

MANCHESTER - In Italy 6 January is the "Befana day", an ugly old lady, a sort of witch (with W, not B ^_^) travelling on a broom, who brings gifts, especially chocolate, candies... (or coal if you've been a bad boy... "boy you've been a naughty girl, you let your knickers down" :). Here are 2 not very ugly befane...
Today's the day of insults, lol. Some bullshit (not the pics :) from tabloids.
City star Mario Balotelli might be homesick - but it's not the women he's missing.
The Italian striker has been getting it on with Big Brother 10 winner Sophie Reade.
But blonde Playboy model Sophie quickly discovered Super Mario isn't exactly boyfriend material - when he pulled her best pal.
The betrayal sparked a good old rant on Twitter.
She wrote: "Would like to let everyone know @FayeEvette (Betts) is a slut and slept with the guy I was seeing! What a friend and welcome 2011." She added: "Mario Balotelli is a fucker!!"
Shame, as this was her tweet a day earlier on New Year's Eve: "Woop, off to Manchester with beautiful @FayeEvette gonna party hard 'til 2011"
That night went well then.
Sophie spent most of the New Year getting her woes off her huge chest with further outbursts at her former bestest mate and fellow glamour girl.
She tweeted: "Some ppl have no shame! And no knickers! Cringe."
Followed by: "Why would I want to make such a thing up! Not my fault I had a skank as a friend who drops there (sic) knickers at first sight of money."
If Sophie had done her research, she'd have known Mario isn't keen on relationships.
He was snapped in Manchester on Monday completing his hat-trick by treating another blonde to dinner before speeding off in his new Maserati.
Last November he dumped his Italian model girlfriend Melissa Castagnoli by text moments before she appeared on a TV show in her home country. She got revenge by reading out his message live on air.
It said: "I'm back to make you change. But never mind, you're sunk. Everything is against you tomorrow. Bye."
Not that moody Mario would have been too bothered.
He has an ego the size of one of Sophie Reade's bras and has backed his claims to be one of the world's best footballers by banging in 8 goals in 8 games for City since his £24million move from Inter Milan.
Mario misses his side's clash with Arsenal today with a swollen knee.
He must have wooden floors in his flat.
