the Britalian Milan site for pure Beady Eye, Pretty Green, Oasis, and City fans

Maybe... Noel is the dick?

MILAN - Last 2 days of the successful Dali art show ("The dream is getting closer"), 330,000 people, tomorrow night free sangria drìnk and special opening until 3am in the night, also with the room of the first cinema sex star recreated for the first time.
Millionaire by Beady Eye delivers a zestful acoustic twang and eyebrow-raising lyrical references to the Catalonian town Figueres and its most famous son, Salvador Dali.
Some works by him have got an eye.
Slip inside the beady eye of your mind, don't you know you might find a better place to play? :)

I quite agree with this little article here. Also because it doesn't quote Definitely Maybe :), usually a bit overrated, I think (the drums are quite important to me, and I don't like the drums on that album). A fan of Oasis usually likes both the brothers Noel and Liam, it also depends on periods, sometimes you like one a bit more than the other. People who are not Oasis fans, they typically think: I prefer Noel, Liam is a dick.
In only 1 year, Liam created a new band (already nominated Best New Band), and a new fashion line (already winning the Drapers award), among other activities.
Noel a couple of concerts performing old hits, and always talking about football.
A new song by Beady Eye, "Morning son" says: you're blinded by what you idolise. And it seems referred to Noel. I've always idolised especially Noel, also because we have so many things in common. Now it's a long period I'm preferring Liam :). When he always said all those things against Noel, the "overrated" one, we used to laugh. But what if he was right? Now Liam says Noel stuff for the solo album is old material. Maybe also Beady Eye took something from old Oasis sessions (for example: the Roller), but there's nothing wrong with that.

What truth does everyone know about Oasis? That Noel was the musical genius—the brains behind the operation—and his brother, Liam, was the hanger-on. The coattail-rider. The dick. Right?
Wait a minute, here. Out of the ashes of Oasis comes a new band, Beady Eye. It’s pretty much every former member of Oasis, fronted by Liam.
If Noel was the genius, why didn’t the band stick with him and hang Liam out to dry? Maybe Noel was the dick? Maybe Liam was the whole reason Oasis worked, in the first place. Maybe the rest of Oasis knew that Liam’s cocky on-stage persona was their meal ticket, and Noel’s troubled genius schtick was all cocaine and reverb.
Dick or not, I’ll give Noel his due. What’s the Story, Morning Glory is a modern masterpiece. Be Here Now isn’t far behind. Love the production on those records. And I can picture how the mixing sessions went. “Just push all those bloody fucking sliders up as loud as they’ll go, please, love. Thanks.”
Now, about this Beady Eye business. I guess it doesn’t matter which Gallagher brother is running the show—they both cop all their sounds fromThe Beatles. Four-Letter Word is pure Live and Let Die-style McCartney. Stabbing strings and over-the-top snarl. It’s pretty good, actually. The B-side, World Outside My Room, is a When I’m 64 rip-off. Still, pretty good. New voice for Liam. I’ve never heard him to tender before.
Looking forward to the full-length. It could be a solid listen. Love the cover art.
