Mr & Mrs Brand's Hindu times: you're my sunshine, you're my rain

JAIPUR - Comedy wild man Russell Brand and his pop star bride this time not Fred :) but Katy Perry tied the knot in India yesterday.
Their friend Oasis' Noel Gallagher is reported to have attended the ceremony, he reportedly arrived in a blacked out Limousine.
The Brit film star and US singer wed in a traditional Hindu wedding in the middle of a tiger reserve.
The backdrop for the nuptials was a luxury resort and it was presided over by a friend of the bride's family while the couple both wore traditional Indian dress.
The wedding procession included 21 camels, elephants and horses according to reports.
A spokesman for the couple said: "Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr and Mrs Brand on October 23.
"The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couple's closest family and friends, was performed by a Christian minister."
The ceremony went ahead as planned despite Brand's fears he was going to be hauled in for questioning by local cops.
It came after his minders had a furious bust up with photographers trailing his pre-wedding safari adventure with comic pal David Baddiel in Ranthambore National Park.
Brand, 35, was said to be close to tears last night as he was worried he could be called in on his big day.
Fortunately it wasn't necessary.
Katy, 25, and her new hubby had been protected by a small army of private security guards at the Aman-e-Khas wildlife retreat and other nearby hotels where guests were staying.
The celebration of their long-awaited union is set to continue for SIX days.
Colourful lights lit up the the trees and flower garlands were strewn about the luxury tents.
Perry wore a sari for the occasion and in a pre-wedding treat of her own she had henna designs applied to her hands yesterday.
Local official Ravi Kumar said a four-member committee had been set up to make sure the party didn't get out of hand - as they did not want the wildlife in India's Rajasthan state being disturbed.
Brand had proposed to Perry in India on New Year's Eve in the historic city of Jaipur.
