the Britalian Milan site for pure Beady Eye, Pretty Green, Oasis, and City fans

now you know why fish & chips are wrapped up in a tabloid...

MILAN - Well, they used to. They should be again, as that should be the only use of tabloids.
By the way, french fries are not french but Belgian.
So, the "Jordan-Gattuso" story showed the ignorance of tabloids. Besides, Gattuso is a very loyal person, and he shows that on the pitch. If he reacted that way, surely there was something not very loyal...
This is the typical mistake of foreign people, stereotyping about Italy, "mafia, pizza, mandolino" (in the North we've  never seen a mandolino, pizza is from Naples, and mafia is from the South). Of course there was some double sense about mandolino, lol.
More than one time I've heard girls afraid of coming to Milan because they were already in Italy, on holidays in the South, and there were men "trying" to flirt with them, even along the street. This sounds hilarious to me, as I've never seen this here. Sounds so strange to me, that I even think those girls were paranoid. So the fame of "latin lovers" is a stereotype going against the whole Italian population, and it's not fair.
In other countries, they probably have less differences between North and South, or East and West, depending on which country we consider. As I was saying some time ago, in Italy the regionalism is very strong (in fact Italy was made of many states until only 150 years ago, anniversary on 17 March, when Beady Eye finish to play in Milan), and even a village can be totally different from another one, for how the people are. You can imagine how North can be different from the South.
In these days this story of the English tabloids is somehow even making us feel more our nationality, in a period of controversy about this anniversary, some people want to celebrate it, some don't want (for example those of the North Italy political party I told you, with "England" flag, they don't care about Italy, sometimes they're right, in my opinion).
Let's make another food comparison. In my opinion, there are so many countries where the food is shite. I don't eat a lot, so: for what I eat, I eat well. And the same about the weather. These are not really "problems" in a country, but every country has its serious problems. Mafia is everywhere, in Russia, etc. of course also in England, yes, it's a kind of organized criminality, that is very strong in South Italy. So telling "mafiosi" to Milan is absurd, everybody has their "mafiosi", and it's serious. It's stupid to use those words to insult or accuse someone. So if one wants to do that, it should be done using "light" issues, for example food and weather, there are many countries to be fooled around, so shitty that it can even become "typical" of them.
Fuck... I forgot what else I wanted to say, lol.
I'll continue this issue on another post soon, or updating this one.
