^_^ the Queen calling the Secret Intelligence Services...
the referees were from Uruguay so now "anyone but Uruguay" :)
The same blind linesman stopped a clear chance for Rooney with an inexistent offside.
Don't go away, "...I need more time just to make things right... damn my situation and the games I have to play" (vs Germany, Argentina, Spain, etc. instead of Ghana, Uruguay... :)
Just 1 goal more was enough to be first in the group
The Italian, who refuses to resign, has defended his players and is standing firm in the face of intense pressure from both the England faithful and the media.
Speaking at his final press conference in South Africa, the former AC Milan and Real Madrid boss said: "I spoke this morning with [Club England chairman] Sir Dave Richards and he told me he needs two weeks to decide my future. I said I can be the manager for the next season but they have to decide. I want to stay on, absolutely. I like this job and I need to be England manager. I have got a contract and I refused a lot of opportunities to be a manager from a lot of important clubs (i.e.: Inter Milan, n.b.M.) because I would like to stay here. I know a lot of changes are needed, but I know what I have to do to qualify for Euro 2012."
Capello believes his players flopped in South Africa due to the demands of a gruelling domestic season. But he refused to lay the blame on England's early exit on the misfiring Wayne Rooney, who failed to net once during the campaign. "My players were really tired at this competition, they were not the players we saw during qualification. Rooney played well during some games but you cannot speak about just one player. All of the players were not as fast or good as I know they can be. The players trained really well but every time we played they did not perform the way I know they can."
Gerrard and other ones said they want him to stay.
For the first time Joseph Blatter now favors an "accurate and not complicated technology"... but as usual it's only words.
