Oasis quotes

Pablo Picasso once said that immature artists imitate things from other artists, while great artists steal and copy. As we all know, Oasis are great artists :D
Listening to these videos, if you hate Oasis you would say they totally copied the songs, but usually it's just a bit of a song, or a riff, at the most. But yes, it's copied, stolen. Anyway, Noel Gallagher is one of the greatest songwriters ever. Sometimes Oasis had to give some of the royalties to other artists, but of course their songs are original masterpieces. I find them even more interesting with these quotes, their music is charming anyway, even more, you know what I mean, where one who knows much of music can find the quotes.

I will add more, e.g. I'd like to teach the world to sing, by the New Seekers, very similar to Shakermaker by Oasis, etc.

T Rex "Get it on" vs Oasis "Cigarettes&alcohol"

Neil Young "Heart of gold" vs Oasis "The girl in the dirty shirt"

George Harrison "My sweet Lord" vs Oasis "Supersonic"
but My sweet Lord had a legal controversy because it was already a bit copied from The Chiffons' hit "He's so fine"

The Doors "Five to one" vs Oasis "Waiting for the rapture"

Iggy Pop "Nightclubbing" vs Oasis "Force of nature"

The La's "Clean prophet" vs Oasis "The importance of being idle"

Jimi Hendrix "Little Miss Lover" vs Oasis "Fuckin' in the bushes"

Neil Innes "How sweet to be an idiot" vs Oasis "Whatever"

The Cure "Homesick" vs Oasis "Wonderwall"
(but not much)

The Beatles "Carry that weight" vs Oasis "Don't look back in anger"

John Lennon "Imagine" vs Oasis "Don't look back in anger"

The Beatles "With a little help from my friends" vs Oasis "She's electric"

The Beatles "Tomorrow never knows" vs Oasis "Falling down"
and of course Oasis quoted the Beatles also in some lyrics, as in Morning Glory saying "tomorrow never knows" in a sentence, or "the fool on the hill" in D'you know what I mean

Stereophonics "Same size feet" vs Oasis "The Hindu times"

Gary Glitter "Hello hello I'm back again" vs Oasis "Hello"
(it was also written on the album sleeve)

Wham "Freedom" vs Oasis "Fade away"
