Sunday: Italy vs England

KIEV - so it's "Inghilterra-Italia" on Sunday... As I had predicted some time ago, I wanted this match, 'cause it's very rare, there should be more. But now that it's here, it's not so good 'cause these games @ Euro 2012 are nice to see but they're causing a lot of tensions between the people of different countries, whatever happens.
Let's hope that all the idiots have gone, booing, fighting, throwing stuff (at cows, as Noel Gallagher), etc.
But usually it's tabloids provoking, and those are difficult to be eliminated. For example, someone please tell the ridiculous Spanish newspapers for people sunbathing on the beach, that with their 0-0 vs Croatia (until the end, and won only thanks to a goal in offside and 2 penalties not given to Croatia, typical help to Spain), Italy would have qualified anyway, and it was even first, so we don't have to return any favour to anyone. And again with the story of Tassotti vs Luis Enrique, there's no problem between them, it was almost 20 years ago and recently shook their hands.
Last night, Ukraine-England 0-1 but there was a ghost goal for Ukraine, not given. At least it compensates for the one by Lampard @ South Africa 2010 World Cup against Germany. Now it's clear that the new referee for the goal line, is useless... idiotic Blatter and Platini don't understand that technology is necessary. UPDATE: Blatter hates both Italy and England, and oh now that it wasn't given a goal against England, he said technology is no longer an alternative but a necessity.
England would have qualified anyway, but who knows, Ukraine playing at home could have tried everything if it was 1-1.
Fantastic goal by AC Milan Ibrahimovic (best goal so far), Sweden beating France 2-0, even if useless. Spain vs France, the French have no hope.
The game played by England is ugly to watch but they're quite concrete, while the main problem for Italy is to make it 2-0 quicker, closing the match. Italy has one day more to relax, but England has the advantage that they've just played 2 games @ Kiev stadium already. Italy wasn't even in Ukraine, they were playing in Poland.
Anyway, there's not much to be happy to win this quarter final England-Italy, 'cause in the semifinal the winner will surely get Germany, and both Italy and England are inferior this year, even if Germany almost always loses vs Italy, but almost always wins vs England.
The one who made the calendar must be an idiot: Germany will have 6 days between quarter and semifinal, the winner of England-Italy only 4.
It must be the Uefa president: the french Platini...
oh the president is french and Euro 2016 will not be in Italy, it could only be in france... boycott.

Kamara considers this game already won before playing and that they need no luck... are you sure? oh just like his previous "easy England-Sweden"...

There are only 2 main England-Italy I remember in my life, 22 years ago the last one in a competition, 1990, and 1997, qualifiers for the World Cup
(but there's also a famous Wembley 1973 England-Italy 0-1, goal by Capello (beating England 2 times with his goals), and 1980 England-Italy 0-1 Marco Tardelli goal)
The last friendly was 10 years ago in 2002 in Leeds, England-Italy 0-2, Montella 2 goals.

Italy-England 2-1 (1990, 3rd and 4th place final)
goals: Baggio, Schillaci, now Manchester City's Platt

1990 World Cup in Italy, they both didn't lose any game, out because of penalties (vs Argentina and Germany). As you can see, there's also a young Mancini and a young Pretty Green fan, AC Milan Paolo Maldini :) (he was 22).
England won the Fair Play award, and the final images of this video with the "ola" (Mexican) wave, Italians and English together are remembered as the best ones from Italia 1990. Schillaci was the top goalscorer.
named in the video: Pavarotti and paparazzo, lol.

England-Italy 0-1 (1997 @ Wembley, Oasis times)
feat. Cesare Maldini-Teo Teocoli, lol

Zola scoring, times when he was playing in England for Chelsea. You can also see a young Beckham (he was 22).

more stuff to add soon
(not to be thrown at cows)
