Today it's again about Definitely Maybe, as the film with Morricone music they were watching.
As some days ago I said "go to a Morricone concert (before it's too late, lol - he likes humour)"... here it is. Before it's late not really because he's old, but, as Noel Gallagher says, "because of the fucking Mayans", lol. In one of the most beautiful locations, Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet city, Verona.
It's on 15 September, sounds like a good period, still warm + Formula 1 in Monza.
We gotta invite him again @ our Football English pub as Liam... he's a fucking legend but human, unlike some other God...
Photo: the (fake) balcony of Juliet, 'cause she never existed. But it's good to imagine that it was all true (but not good the tragic ending). Beady Eye were at this historic Arena last year, but it was a tv programme, so they didn't play live, just miming.
We got to know two girls from Verona @ historic Oasis gig in Milan 30 May 2000, the first one without Noel (so first "Beady Eye" gig). And of course they were two fake Giuliettas (one really called Giulia), better not to remember the soap opera with them. Veneto, it's a zone where they drink a lot (you also remember the Oasis gig in Treviso...), as that Italian Oasis website who cannot even write correctly our own language and gives wrong news. You know, I learnt from Noel talking shit about zones... same regionalism as in England.
But I know that on experiences, having lived the longest period away from Milan there, four months. Four letter word to them.
