The boat that rocked, radio Oasisblues, harem of girls :)

SAINT COLUMBAN-UPON-LAMBRO (LOL, I'm translating the name) - Yeah today I'm back in that place with the name of Milan river which gave the name to the Mods Lambretta made in Milan (also on the cover of Be Here Now), it's another town with English flag and (Irish) patron saint of motorcyclists.
This is where I stay in Blur's Country house :), very English isn't it, looking at Saint Lawrence falling stars, having barbecues, the food's the bollocks lol, etc.
Do you remember the (home made) Beady Eye video of Bring the Light with images from the film The boat that rocked. Maybe you have seen it, or maybe not 'cause that film was a commercial failure. I liked it, there are some nice scenes and it makes you want to start a radio... today it's possible and free through internet, but I don't know if we could broadcast a lot of copyrighted music. So, for now we continue our boat's journey with the website, but a Radio Oasisblues would be nice. Maybe more than one person would be necessary, to find time and something to say "all day and all of the night" :), the Kinks would say in the film. But I could bring my experiences at Radio 105 and Tele+ tv, and my voice of when I used to sing.
In the film every deejay has his own personality, and one is called Mark, he almost never speaks but girls love him (see photo), but somehow girls love all of them deejays. At the end the others ask him his secret, and he says that is "don't say anything at all"... (which is quite strange for a radio deejay) and "when the tension becomes too much to bear, you finally, finally, you just say: "How about it then?", LOL. Well, he was acting as the mysterious one but maybe was also physically attractive to the girls, anyway this reminds me many years ago when I was very shy and was almost never speaking, I was much more successful with girls than now, sure. In the end, words ruin many things... But I still don't speak too much, I just write :), so there's still a chance to make a girls harem, LOL.
How about it then? :)

($17=£10) The Boat That Rocked (retitled Pirate Radio in North America, I Love Radio Rock in Italy) is a 2009 British comedy film, based on pirate radio in the United Kingdom during the 1960s.
Set in 1966 (year of the only World Cup won by England), it tells the story of the fictitious pirate radio station Radio Rock and its crew of eclectic disc jockeys, who broadcast rock and pop music to the United Kingdom from a ship anchored in the North Sea while the British government endeavors to shut them down.
The soundtrack features songs from The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Beach Boys, The Who ("My Generation", covered by Oasis, and "I can see for miles", also in a Pretty Green video), The Moody Blues, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, etc.
The film was a commercial failure at the British box office. It received mixed reviews, with most criticism directed at its muddled storyline and 2¼-hour length. For its North American release it was re-edited to trim its running time by twenty minutes, but was still commercially unsuccessful.
In the film, the government minister (Kenneth Branagh) looks like Hitler, lol.
One of the actors is Rhys Ifans, the famous hilarious "Spike" in Notting Hill and also featuring in Oasis video The importance of being idle.
At the end of the film, among the music albums in history, there's also Oasis' What's the story Morning Glory.
