I think Beady Eye will be successful because they're both a new and old band. Old for 2 reasons: born on the ashes of Oasis, and often very similar to Oasis. And also because they often sound 1950s (so, older than Oasis quotes), '60s, '70s... so: old.
The new song you've heard, Beatles&Stones, is by Liam. And when he says "I'm gonna stand the test of time like Beatles&Stones" I see his intention of keeping Beady Eye all is life, so without Oasis reforming, in fact he said they won't reform.
2 years ago yesterday, 2-2-2009, it was Oasis last concert in Milan.
I've seen that idiotic magazine called Rolling Stone, always against Oasis, is giving away for free a Beady Eye vinyl in Germany, and it's the new song The Roller, available in the shops on 21 February, the real first single. Of course I'm NOT going to get that magazine, and I will always talk shit about them. Usually a Beady Eye vinyl was limited edition, for the best fans. I see this magazine is still against Oasis also giving away this disc, then of course many people won't buy The Roller (which I've already ordered). We understand why The Roller hasn't got a good position on DOWNLOADS charts... If you're a real fan, you don't buy that magazine.
To give the good example, as the biggest fan I am: months ago I already ordered the album, special edition with dvd, very cheap (same price now) and with free delivery, and now I ordered also the vinyl and the t-shirt, and on 25 February I'll even buy it in the shop, so in the end I'll have 3 copies (it's always possible to give it as a gift).
Bootlegs, concerts and different versions are ok for the Gallaghers, so download this concert in Japan (Makuhari Messe Hall) here and here (great quality and with Whatever).
for the email readers: I added a 3rd US radio interview
