However newspappers claim Balotelli is destined to join Milan in the near future, and Pato could be his proxy in Manchester.
The 21-year-old Brazilian striker will be offered as part of the deal by the Rossoneri.
Mino "the fox" :) Raiola, Balotelli’s agent, who recently brought many good players to Milan and brokered the City deal last summer, also has associations with Pato, meaning an agreement would not be hard to reach should the wind blow in that direction. Raiola recently said Mario won't join Milan. Then it's sure: Mario soon to Milan ahaha (it's Raiola's usual strategy).
Furthermore, Balotelli has always said he wants to play for Milan to forge a striking partnership with his former Inter team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who doesn't get on well with Pato.
The Italian international would also be playing alongside Antonio Cassano – his Azzurri partner up front.
