COACHELLA - Liam Gallagher's band Beady Eye is heading to America in April to play at the 2014 Coachella Festival.
Cheshire band The 1975 will also cross the Atlantic to perform at the spring music and arts event.
Both acts will play at the California festival on the final day Sunday, April 13 and 20 (also Arcade Fire, Lana Del Rey, etc.)
They join a stellar line-up including a plethora of British acts including Calvin Harris, Pet Shop Boys, Fatboy Slim, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure with and Muse both headlining the event.
Among the British acts are Pharrell Williams, Outkast and rockers Motorhead, MGMT and Queens of the Stone Age.
The 1975 were in Manchester this week for a mini residential at Manchester Academy as part of their UK tour.
Former Oasis frontman Liam and his band head to New Zealand on tour later this month, before moving on to Australia (Big Day Out festival), and dates at venues across Europe.
Coachella runs over two weekend in April and brings together art and music in the California valleys.
