Former Italian Prime Minister and AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, 75 years old, has finally released his new album True Love.
The Guardian (left-wing... so to mock him) reports that the controversial politician who quit his post last week, published the cd. The Guardian should shut up a bit, about things they don't know, as when they wrote Liam Gallagher abandoned the stage at the iTunes Festival 2009 (but that was normal, when Noel was singing, and that time I remember Liam was even just beside the drums), and so he wanted to sue them.
Berlusconi's album is his 4th with guitarist and former parking attendant Mariano Apicella from Naples.
The "zio Silvio" (uncle Silvio, as we call him), who used to sing on cruise ships, has sung for a host of his fellow world leaders, including Tony Blair, Vladimir Putin and George W Bush at his villa in Sardinia – where his notorious 'bunga-bunga' parties took place.
One of the other musicians on the album, Angelo Valsiglio, said in an interview with Italian music magazine Viva Verdi that the record is a "really elegant and refined production with Brazilian hints".
In September, Berlusconi received political criticism from an unlikely source when Madonna branded him as "unsuitable to govern Italy". The singer, who is of Italian-American descent, made the remark during a visit to the Venice Film Festival for the unveiling of her new movie WE.
