Noel and Liam Gallagher will have to come to Milan to see their idol, ex captain Carlos Tevez (but of course he's not playing yet), his transfer to Milan giants has moved a step closer after his agent held positive talks with the Italian champions.
Kia Joorabchian had a two-hour meeting with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani at the club's headquarters.
It had been thought a short-term loan was on the cards yet the word in Italy is a permanent transfer is on the negotiating table.
City boss Roberto Mancini is happy to see the back of him but has insisted Manchester City want the £40m market value for the striker, although privately City admit they will not get it.
And the Serie A side are considering a £25 million swoop for City outcast Tevez in the January transfer window.
Joorabchian said: "It was a constructive dialogue which left me feeling happy.
"Milan is the best solution at the moment, they are his first choice.
"Carlos wants to wear the Milan shirt."
Juventus are also interested in signing the Argentine striker, but he prefers Milan.
Tevez is currently at his home in Argentina after a total breakdown in communications with City.
Mancini said that Tevez's decision to return to Argentina without permission had ended any hope the forward had of playing for the Premier League club again.
The 27-year-old has still not returned to Manchester and recently missed a scheduled meeting with the Premier League leaders to discuss his future.
Mancini refused to answer questions about the matter in his weekly press conference.
Tevez has not played since apparently refusing an instruction from Mancini to warm up during a Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September.

City fined Tevez four weeks' wages last month but were forced to halve it after the Professional Footballers' Association intervened.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Joorabchian added: "In reality the problem is only with Mancini, not with the club.
"Carlos has been clear with the club, the only consequence was a fine.
"However, it's obvious they're interested in resolving the situation."
Tevez is under contract with City until 2014 and earns a whopping £200,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium.
But Joorabchian reckons the Rossoneri will be able to meet his client's pay demands.
He said: "I don't think problems should be talked about with his wages seeing as all big players earn high salaries.
"However, we didn't talk about the economic aspect with Galliani."
Milan are on the lookout for a new forward with Antonio Cassano set to miss the rest of the season recovering from heart surgery.
