Today he played again for Radio Deejay-Tv @ Tropical Pizza: here you can listen to the interview (didn't check if it's available also abroad), he was in a good mood and also said: what other team of Manchester? lol.
And of course he had several other interviews for the press (repeating some things), he was also on one of the main sports websites, where he said: "Football needs players like Balotelli, I adore him. I'd like to meet him, he's a good boy". (! :)
So, Noel agrees with Liam, very rare :)
Tonight 27, Manchester City have a difficult match in Munich, against Bayern. He also admitted: "my music is not Oasis now"...
and said that rock'n'roll is "dead" at the moment – but that won't be the case for long: all the genre needs in order to reinvigorate itself is a unique frontman or songwriter, like himself or brother Liam Gallagher.
"[The state of rock'n'roll is] really fucking bad now but when it's bad there's someone somewhere like Ian Brown, Liam or Bobby Gillespie or a songwriter like me who can retell the story.
"That's all rock and roll is; retelling this great fucking story. Music snobs will think when this band come along that its all been done before, but it's only a story that needs retelling for a new generation. Rock'n'roll is gone at the minute but it'll never die because Neil Young said so."
The comments come after he said that Oasis were the last great traditional rock'n'roll bands.
He said: "We don't live in an era where indie rock bands sell 60 million albums. Oasis were the last great, traditional rock'n'roll band. We came along before the internet so, if you wanted to see us, you had to be there. It makes me feel like a righteous old man."
About his first solo album: "I can't decide how many it sells", he shrugs. "If you like what I do, there's lots on there for you to like, but also some stuff that you wouldn't expect. And if you don't like what I do, believe you me there's enough on there for you to hate."
