BELFAST - More about Belsonic. Big fan Darren Barnes (25 Oasis gigs) attended the festival (close to the stage) and here are his thoughts and two of his pics, he met the whole band. we head to Belfast from Leeds for the gig, I hear Liam and the lads are staying in a certain 5 star hotel so I stay there and a great hotel it is!!! very posh. So I get there on the Saturday morning, can't see any of the lads. I get ready for the gig, head to toe in Pretty Green may I add!! ha
Liam swaggers on to the stage and belts out "Four Letter Word". The band are on fire. End with "Sons of the Stage". By this time I'm a little drunk ha. So back to the hotel and fell asleep. I wake up in the morning, hungover!!! So I head for breakfast at 7am!!! to find a empty hall!! with only 2 people in, Liam and his minder Steve. I get talking to them both about music football and clothes, had a good chat. Then got all pics and signed my album!!!! he says we're leaving for Amsterdam soon, come and meet the lads.
