Status Quo like Beady Eye even if they didn't want to

LONDON - The list of people who like Beady Eye is getting longer. And if it's someone who didn't even want to, then it means Beady Eye are really a good band.
Status Quo star, the Italian origins Francis Rossi (you remember a post about him some months ago) is a Beady Eye fan.
The 'Rocking All Over the World' and 'Whatever You Want' singer, still active since the '60s, admits he grudgingly likes Liam Gallagher's new band, even though he hates the "grumpy" frontman.
Francis said: "I quite like that single they did, I can't remember the name, I didn't want to. I don't want to like him, he's got that sort of face, he's a grumpy sod. But I do like them I have to admit it."
Liam's former band Oasis were compared to Status Quo – famous for their traditional rock 'n' roll – by their Britpop rivals Blur in the 90s ('Quoasis').
Even though Francis enjoys Beady Eye – whose racks include Bring The Light and The Roller – he admits he isn't up to date with the current rock scene and didn't even bother checking the line-up for Glastonbury because the world famous music festival is "just a gig".
When quizzed on what he though of this year's Glastonbury line-up – which included U2, Coldplay and Beyonce Knowles – he said: "I don't think about. I don't think about gigs and what the bill is, it's just a gig.
"At my age, current to me is Muse, and they're about 10 years old. If they're not around for 10 years I don't even notice."
