Andy: Yes, the fact of his collaboration with The La's played a role, but in fact it is he found us first - we have not even started to search for a producer, as he showed up at our door. Well, we decided that it is unlikely to be able to find someone better than him in the short term, but we did not want to delay album release on the back burner for such reasons. And we do not make a mistake with the choice.
Z: Well, any difficulties with the record been?
Liam: This is the first in my memory album, record that we have no difficulty. Everything went like clockwork, man, I have not experienced such pleasure from what I have to hang around in a stuffy studio. We have never had a situation where I'm stuck for months, being in Oasis: "damn song, how did it written" - and all the weeks go round and round this song until exhaustion. With "Different Gear, Still Speeding" everything went without a hitch.
A: The only thing that marred our work - is the fact that England never took the World Cup. (Laughs). We made it our goal to record a "live in the studio - so everything went very quickly. Z: You started a new group from scratch, this is your recollection of how you did it before in the Oasis or a completely new experience that does not intersect with the fact that it was before?

Z: Do you think that Beady Eye ways to gain entirely new audience? Or does it capture the part of fans of Oasis, who are ready for change?

Z: Liam Q - in one interview you said that Oasis were the history of pop music, but the Beady Eye, on the contrary, pure rock and roll. Could you explain the difference?

Do you think this is really a problem of contemporary music, or all of those who listen to it?
A: (bitterly) Well, you have a list that would be solid albums of 2000s?
Z: Well, maybe not all, of course, but noticeable part - why not?
A: Well, I also like some modern plate - that's Tame Impala recorded a great album, but if I thought, who would be included in a list of the best albums of all time record, I do not remember remember about them. Just because there's an entirely different magnitude scale. Well, besides, still a fairly subjective - we love music 60's and 70's, because we grew up on it. Music of the 80 connected us with some important events of his youth, and the farther away, the less we were interested in someone else's music and the more we are engaged in their own. So, I think that many of our fans, too, have become hostages of the music of his youth, but I do not see anything wrong with that.
