ROMA - Photo: last summer in Montecarlo, Atletico Madrid fans (beating Inter Milan in the European SuperCup) were supporting AC Milan, lol. And showing a classic "Inter shit", the team owned by a rich left-wing oil tycoon and his wife in politics.
Our deepest appreciation to Atletico fans ^_^, 'cause it was unexpected.
In exchange, of course we are against Real Madrid, always preferring Barcelona.
Tonight Inter won the Italian Cup in Rome, vs Palermo who deserved more (of course Inter had the benefit of some usual strange referee decisions), but it's a cup worthing less than the FA Cup in England.
Just a detail: they won 7 useless Italian cups in their history, we won 7 Champions Leagues... difference!
This summer (6 August) in CHINA, it's Milan derby for the Italian SuperCup: not so important, but it is 'cause it's a derby.
Having seen Inter business in communist China in the recent years, even putting their sponsor on the shirts in Chinese language (Pirelli, the Formula 1 tyres from Milan), we can easily think there will be something strange in that game. As usual, it's all about money. Having seen what happened in the past (as: winning the Champions League with 15 referee "mistakes" and all about that, Calciopoli scandal where recenty it came out that Inter did the same things of Juventus thieves relegated in Serie B, plus controlling phone calls thanks to Telecom managed by Tronchetti Provera at those times, using irregular passports, etc. but no punishment at all), we can now think of anything.
Today, Pirelli president Tronchetti Provera, Inter connected and big fan, was even in Montecarlo in that strange race. Monaco the football team even got relegated.
In these days, even the attitude of Palermo president was really strange: usually he's very aggressive and always believes in a win. Now resigned, as he felt to lose. Maybe they have some agreement for transfers of players... or maybe resigned 'cause he knows the thieves Inter are.
In fact, at the end of the game, he exploded in anger as usual, saying that Inter are the Beagle Boys (la Banda Bassotti in the Italian version).
