Morrissey, the former Smiths frontman and solo singer/songwriter/author has hit out at the remoaners and hailed Brexit as magnificent.
“I thought it was a fascinating strike for democracy, because the people said the opposite to Westminster, and that was extraordinary,” he told The Sunday Times.
“(Europeist) David Cameron didn’t imagine the result could be as it was, but at least he did the honourable thing and slid away. The unfortunate thing is that politicians only speak to other politicians.”
Despite never having voted himself, he said that the Brexit vote was a victory for “democracy against Westmonster”.
However, he was not confident that the will of the people would become a reality, saying “because Westminster don’t want it” and that “they’re just finding a way not to make it Brexit.”
Morrissey joins other personalities to back people’s revolutions like Brexit and Trump, including Sam Allardyce and Jennifer Aniston.
But the majority of celebrities is still part of the system.
The Gallaghers (especially Noel) are now the opposite of how Oasis were. Oasis' blues.
Of course we don't agree with Morrissey when he said he would kill Trump.
