Beady Eye 2nd album with surprising producer

LONDON - The crocodile can't wait to go out. Beady Eye, also known as Oasis without Noel Gallagher, are getting more ambitious on album two, which is best demonstrated in their choice of producers. The band won’t be collaborating with English Steve Lillywhite, instead, they’ve enlisted the services of the member of American indie rockers TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, closely associated with the New York scene of the early 2000s, that seems a surprisingly creative choice.
The producer is best known for his work with bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and CSS, along with rappers Wale and Santigold, which makes this pairing fascinating. Beady Eye or Oasis for that matter, rely on the foundation laid by classic rock and Britpop.
David Sitek's credits include 'It's Blitz' by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 'Antidotes' by Foals and 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' by Scarlett Johansson, Icky Blossoms, Swedish electronic pop artist Lykke Li, and Usher.
Whether they will fully embrace Sitek's love of distorted post-punk guitars and glitchy electronics remains to be seen- but the choice has the potential to be a masterstroke.
Let's not forget that before his days as Oasis' bassist, Andy Bell was also the guitarist for immersive Oxford shoegazers, Ride - an area of expertise the band would do well to tap in to.
The announcement on the band’s website said the band started work with the producer and their new album will be released in 2013.

Finally, Noel Gallagher's Low Lying Turds die today. The "band that is not a band but will disband in November". R.I.P.
The second album he said he would have published in 2012 with the Amorphous Androgynous, of course wasn't published and will not be published.

Beady Eye are making a second album, while this same day the High Flying Birds disband. Noel failed his clear purpose (if you're not a blinded fan) : breaking America. 28th position in the chart, despite recording it in the USA, making USA style music, USA style videos, copying the band name from an USA band, copying lyrics from another USA band, using USA actresses, saying he wanna be the USA president, etc.
