Bradley Wiggins: what a gentleman Liam

LONDON - Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was on hand to present Olympic hero Bradley Wiggins with the Lifetime Achievement award at the GQ Awards in London last night.
Wiggins said: "It means a lot to be presented with this award from Liam. I grew up with Oasis. What a night at GQ awards and Liam what a gent, cheers".

Introducing the award Liam said: "Not since Phil Daniels in Quadrophenia has a man looked so cool on a set of wheels – Bradley Wiggins."

Reigniting an interest in the Mod look it was no surprise to see Wiggins refreshing his wardrobe in the Pretty Green Manchester store last week.
Since his Gold win at the Olympics and being the only Brit in History to win the Tour De France, Wiggins has become somewhat of a style icon and man of the moment.

The UK’s Olympians and Paralympians have marked “a year to remember”. Stars including Sir Chris Hoy, Louis Smith, Mo Farah and Jody Cundy came on stage to accept the Team award.
Other awards saw Homeland star Damian Lewis named TV Personality of the year and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen named best comedian. Gary Barlow was given the Outstanding Achievement award, while Michael Fassbender was named Actor of the year.
U2 frontman Bono presented the Inspiration award to Sir Salman Rushdie, and Sir Tom Jones picked up the Legend award at the ceremony. He we presented with the award – and a pair of knickers – by Grace Jones with the Welsh veteran joking: “Thank you, us Jones’ have to stick together.”
US film producer Harvey Weinstein gave the Editor’s Special award to James Corden, while Thor star Chris Hemsworth was presented with the International Breakthrough award by fellow Australian Kylie Minogue.
Other stars at the event (@ Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, central London): Robbie Williams and his heavily pregnant wife Ayda Field, Ronan Keating, Victoria Pendleton, new Bond girl Berenice Marlohe, Tinie Tempah (Best Solo Artist), Jessie J, Lana Del Rey, etc.
Milan's Dolce & Gabbana won the Designers award (presented by Monica Bellucci), Boris Johnson won the Politician one.
It's a honour that among so many celebrities, all the jealous comments are for one person only... says a lot about the legend he is.
