pathetic Noel Gallagher dedicates Wonderwall to the real Oasis

LONDON - He refused to sing @ Olympics because he was asked to mime... the organizers knew well that Noel can't sing.
He said he "played a bit of cat and mouse" with the Olympics. Actually he played a bit of SCAREDY cat (as Liam says about him) and mouse his whole career, leaving Oasis 3 times.
We've read that Noel Gallagher dedicated 'Wonderwall' to "Stratford's finest Oasis tribute band" at a War Child benefit gig... (Dingwalls in Camden). Wow, it's supposed to make people laugh (the idiotic ones).
Right, and the High Flying Birds is the SECOND finest tribute band.
Let's see... Beady Eye = 4 ex Oasis... Low Lying Turds = 1 ex... which is the tribute band again?
most pathetic man ever seen, even at charity gigs... (and, said by one who's been playing TEN Oasis song per gig)
also, Oasis was LIAM's band... he was the founder and gave the name.
the most hilarious part of the article is calling Noel Gallagher a FRONTMAN... first of all he'd need a singer, a real voice, one with some balls...
not to mention Noel's depressed sad version of Wonderwall... Beady Eye played the original one...
the real news is Noel playing for a charity gig... and without moaning... not yet... he had to, somehow...
Is there anyone still listening to Noel?
There was also the usual news = non-news about Noel Gallagher saying he's not going to publish his second album (he had already said it, and more than one time, but every word he says it's "exclusive"...), to act as a victim, one of his strategies to make people buy his one and only, "unique" album, made of old songs.

"Yeah, love Noel and all but I lost a lot of respect when he spent half his gigs on Oasis songs instead of playing his new material that he was supposed to be touring with. Beady Eye toured for nearly an entire year without 1 Oasis song in their set list. And even their latest gigs for this year have only included 2 Oasis songs max...If anyone is a tribute band, I hate to say it, but it is Noel. And his acoustic renditions of many of the songs that should be electric and sung by Liam are just god awful. Completely ruined Supersonic, Whatever and Good To Be Free for me."

maccarone... me hai provocato e io te distruggo...

more stuff from Tony’s book...

copying songs

“Noel’s ability to draw upon other people’s tunes was evident even in those days and if he heard anything worthwhile from another room it would be developed as a new piece for us. BigUn would deal with any problems… This led to a number of altercations with the other bands sharing The Boardwalk. One eve
ning we opened the door to find a note sellotaped to it. ‘Find your own fucking riffs’, it read.”

“The songs we arrived with, were being torn apart and restructured in front of our very eyes. Chris had shortened every song we had. He also gave Noel advice on song structure, which became very evident…
We spent over 3 months with The Real People and without them we would have never created Definitely Maybe, Or What’s The Story Morning Glory. Or Be Here Now”.
(and according to music experts, those are the only good Oasis albums…)

“Noel told his contacts he was not even on the demo, as if he was ashamed. Not the greatest sales technique to use, I remarked to him.”

(Columbia was written by Liam and Chris Griffiths, but Noel gave them no credits. The Real People also helped to write Rockin’ Chair, Don’t Go Away, Supersonic, Whatever, All Around The World, etc. when Oasis “had arrived at their door with a desperate look and three songs”)

Some Noel’s blinded fans don’t even know that 24 Oasis songs were not written by Noel.

“The fact that John Mulvey had alluded to the influence of The Real People had upset Noel’s equilibrium. To throw petrol on fire, I asked if they would get their production credits on Supersonic. Noel seemed less than amused”.

“Noel told everyone that, for whatever reason, they were not to put The Real People on any future guest lists. This came as a shock to everyone. Liam told him to fuck right off. ‘I’ll put on whoever I want’, he said angrily. ‘And then I’ll take them off’, came the reply from Noel. He would soon take to checking the guest lists and removing people he didn’t want. This would cause constant problems for us”.

“Mark was also responsible for the musical intake while on tour. He would bring along an eclectic mix of music tapes, from Burt Bacharach to The Creation, Ennio Morricone to Neil Young. Noel would namedrop these artists if he was ever asked to recount his own musical influences. I always found Mark good company and his importance to the band in the early days should never be underestimated”.

the new Noel

“The new Noel was born. The introduction of a record contract and the financial allure was just all too intoxicating. The Noel of old had left us and a new one had arrived. I found out that I didn’t really like the new Noel and I know now that he didn’t like much me. In fact, he didn’t like many people”.

"The flashes of the old Noel were seldom; most of the time, the cocaine-charged Commander-in-Chief was around".

"Noel seemed to be displaying some signs of a good man gone bad. He would not tell me I was going to be sacked even if I was. And he certainly wouldn't tell me if he'd changed the contract. Noel had become a different man".

the media darling was born

“I have a masterplan, began Noel. It’s the media that sells records, not the band. We need to be more cocksure than the Stone Roses, more fucking mental than the Happy Mondays and at least make sure we’ve got better tunes than Cunt Balloon. And we’ve got Liam. It’s a simple game”.

“There seemed to be a mild hysteria wherever we went, with most of it being directed at Liam”.

(this is what many people don’t know, many young fans who didn’t live those times, Noel’s blinded fans who even say Oasis would have been better without Liam… he was fundamental, not only for his great voice, but also because girls liked him and fundamental even more than Noel, even for his “bad” character at those times… jealous haters secretly know this, Oasis without Liam wouldn’t have existed)

“Noel told us how McGee was going to get him a Rolls-Royce and had talked about how mega stars (such as he would become) sometimes even got knighthoods.
It seemed that Noel and Alan McGee were now thick as thieves but I noticed that Noel had started talking about just him and not the band as a whole. I asked him, ‘What the fuck would a working-class lad from Manchester do with a knighthood?’ ”

“If I was ever to refer to the masterplan again in the future, ‘Shut the fuck up’ would become the standard response from Noel. I guessed we were right in thinking that he had never meant to give so much away” (when he was drunk)

“I reminded him of Liam, Bonehead, myself and even Guigs. I reminded him of Tony and Chris Griffiths. I reminded him of BigUn. ‘It’s not just about you, Noel. Why do you have to be such a fuckin’ miserable twat?’ “

“I had lent Noel a videotape of our first performance at The Boardwalk, from the days before he joined. Liam had asked to watch it so we went round… Noel looked extremely awkward. ‘Erm… you can’t watch it’, he said. ‘What do you mean we can’t watch it?’ Liam asked. ‘It’s not here’ Noel replied ‘I’ve lent it someone’. ‘It’s not yours to lend out. Get it back’, Liam shot back, angrily. We never did get that tape back – it disappeared off the face of the earth. It was the only video footage of the band prior to his arrival.”

the experienced man

“We used to tease him when he delivered his daily statement: ‘done it all before’. We used to tell him he had not ‘done it all before’; he had only carried the instruments as the Inspiral Carpets did it all”.

“I laughed as Liam pointed out that Prince was actually taller than Noel”.
(lol)

"Noel was making jokes about penis extensions when he had the smallest penis in the band".
(lol)

the illuminati effect: instant success

“Oasis has been pure (?) Ben Johnson at the 1988 Olympics. Fortunately there are no urine tests in pop…”
