Noel Gallagher, the Lord mayor of loneliness

MANCHESTER - I've seen around there're still people believing that Tony McCarroll had to leave Oasis because he argued with Liam... hilarious. They've always been friends and never argued, and Tony even went to Liam's gigs today.
As always, that's the version Noel said to the press (do those people even believe tabloids?). In Paris, Tony argued with NOEL... and Noel changed the contract Tony signed, without telling him... and searching for excuses to sack him (even attacking his girlfriend). He started sacking the drummer 'cause the Beatles changed the drummer... Noel always suffered from inferiority complexes... a psychologist needed.
It must be all the people who don't know that all the members who had to leave the band, they argued with the new Noel Hitler-Gallagher. He's supposed to be God loving everyone. In the real world, it's always been the opposite.
He's now alone with his new "band" the High Paid Mercenaries, highly paid (the only way to stay with him... the same for his wife...) until November when they'll disband (he already argued with some, from the beginning, and one left the band).
I've seen around there are still people, usually very young fans, Noel's new fans ("really kids", as he calls them), who don't know anything about Oasis (they know them through the media...), who believe Noel was the founder of the band and gave the name, and Liam was previously in a band called The Rain.
Liam was NEVER in a band called The Rain, whose singer was Chris Hutton, and when Liam joined HE founded the band, LIAM gave the name Oasis, from a poster of the Inspiral Carpets in his bedroom, a gig they played at Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon.

More from Tony's book:

"Noel cites verbal intimidation as a factor in his decision to quit Oasis. He's gotta be joking. Noel's sardonic outbursts have been aimed at those around him for years. Noel simply did not like the taste of his own medicine."

(with all his richness) "he still doesn't seem happy. He will probably show you his veneers and tell you he is, but I'm not so sure"
"Over the years, Noel has reshaped the beginnings of Oasis. It started early, with the loss of the videotape of our first gig [without Noel], and he has carefully handled all public revelations since. To this day he is insistent that he did it all alone; he goes out of his way to make points. 'Everyone else was a monkey'. Not true. He had four friend with him all the way. He had the sound we had created in a basement of a hotel. We had our songs performed by a mesmerising and gifted frontman, Liam.
Noel's bag contained only 3 good songs [the rest written by the Griffiths].
Then there's his claim that he and Liam often fought with each other. I never saw them come to physical blows. Not once. [it's Noel's masterplan, to become successful through the media, and not through the music]
And his claim that we used to burgle houses? Bollocks. Never did any of the band commit burglary. It's a working-class crime. You paid heavily.
The Beatles were our greatest influence? Not true. This Beatle connection first came from the work with the Real People. After openly declaring us to be the next Beatles, it was 'decided' that they would be our musical influence.
How about the line that we signed to Creation Records because we liked what they stood for? We never signed to Creation at all. We just said we did because it sounded much cooler than us signing with Sony.
Noel said that I had a fight with Liam in Paris, and that this contributed to my exit from the band. Not true. I never had any altercation at all with Liam. Never would.
Then Noel claimed that I simply wasn't a good enough drummer. If musicianship had been an issue, then Noel would have sacked the whole band, including himself. Guigs didn't even record on the album...
Noel mocks Liam's unhinged behaviour; that attitude was typical of the Liam that Noel had encouraged all those years ago. Noel knew that the media were intoxicated with the snorting, aggressive, working-class hero that Liam was.
With Noel, everybody has their time. Even his brother.
Liam still holds true to those values and beliefs he started with. For all his arrogance and attitude, he has a generosity and dignity that those aound him truly appreciate. He's not perfect, but he's honest. And he's real."
