final: Italy vs Spain with a little help from their friends

KIEV - The referee Pedro Proença is Portuguese and he should keep in mind that Spain scored the decisive goal for the group stage in offside... and there were 2 penalties for Croatia... so Spain probably wouldn't even have qualified. Besides, Spain won vs Portugal on penalties, he probably doesn't like them ;)
Photo: Ukrainian topless girl (must be of Femen, "fuck Euro 2012") trying to steal the cup.
It's been an entertaining tournament, apart from many racist episodes, all against Italy: from Spanish fans with their typical monkey chants to Balotelli (they were doing even worse things to Hamilton in Formula 1), from Croatians (booing the anthem, monkey boos, throwing rockets, bananas, they had to pay), Irish (booing Balotelli), Germans (typical racist newspapers and tv "experts"). Plus violence, between Croatians and Irish, Russians and Poles.
I thought it would have been very boring, nobody absolutely expected Italy to be so good (even if it's the last 2 World Champions, 2006 vs 2010, playing). We were losing friendly games vs Usa, Russia, but not vs Spain last summer (2-1, with a classic help for the Spanish, an absurd penalty). These Beatles' "little helps from their friends" also happen for their clubs, as Barcelona (famously helped vs Chelsea some time ago).
The Spanish tabloids have been idiotic, as usual, when before Spain-Italy 1-1 (the only one team scoring a goal to the World&Europe Champions) they published rubbish from 1994 (that makes 18 years ago, Oasis first album), the famous elbow by Tassotti (now AC Milan 2nd manager) to Luis Enrique (last year's Roma manager), when there's no problem between them, they were also shaking their hands recently and the Spanish even said he doesn't want to hear about that anymore.
About the famous "biscotto" (biscuit), the Spanish newspapers have been even more ridiculous, "forgetting" that Italy would have qualified anyway with the draw 0-0 for Spain-Croatia, and "forgetting" they cheated in the 80s, scoring 12 goals.
Spain is the favored, in every sense (it seems for referees too).
