the Britalian Milan site for pure Beady Eye, Pretty Green, Oasis, and City fans

the higher you climb, the harder you fall

SINGAPORE - Stop saying that Noel Gallagher received 21 negative reviews. They are 22 now.
I bet you were missing them eh. Beady Eye only one negative. BE > NG.
Noel, maybe your time is coming (I'm still quoting Oasis' Alive). In fact you repeated that you could retire soon. The people will notice that the times are changing...it's just for now but not for good...
will you be left alone at the starting gate? I'm not blind (as Noel fans) and I don't mind, 'cause I got time now I'm alive.

again the Rubik's cube=Noel's different faces.
the Rubik's bra that Noel fans are throwing him (he said he's becoming a serial killer, confirming what I said).
Having bras is not enough... you have to SOLVE them ;)

Going in a different direction from the “Wall of Sound” that Oasis took, Noel, coined The Chief by his fans, takes a mellow style in High Flying Birds, a huge contrast from the over-compressed fuzzed-out guitar-centric tones that were synonymous with Oasis.
It may come as a surprise that the first guitar solo on the album only comes in on the 6th track, AKA… What a Life! (it's not even a solo, but chords repeated), with only one other solo (Wrong Beach) being featured in its entirety [so as Noel said, there are only 2 guitar solos, I had considered 3, not What a life but in Stop the clocks and Record Machine... Beady Eye had 7 solos].
The first single from the self-titled album, Death of You and Me, showcases a bigger range to The Chief’s often-safe singing, with frequent falsettos being sung in this laid-back composition. Eerily resembling Oasis’s The Importance of Being Idle, the single features a New Orleans-style horn section that helps evoke a cabaret circus setting, which gives it a somewhat mischievous yet mysterious mood.
Despite Noel testing the boundaries on corny lyrics, such as the “La-la-la” sing-along in Dream On (plus "oh me, oh my/ I'm running out of battery"), “Oh me, oh my/ So long baby bye-bye” in (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach, and "what if I'm already dead, how would I know?" (Stop the clocks, even his Guardian mocked him), he convincingly expresses an array of emotions through his vocal work and lyric construction [this is ironic]. With lines such as “Drowning, I’m sinking in the quicksand/Stranded on the wrong beach/Come and rescue me”, once again from (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach and, “You’ve been drifting and stealing/Try to walk in my shoes/But they don’t belong to you” from Everybody’s On The Run, feelings of desperation to joy to anger and everything in-between can easily be found and understood in the master composers carefully crafted lyrics.
With the mix of Rock ‘n’ Roll with orchestral elements, it’s evident that Noel has headed towards a Baroque-pop style, which comes as no surprise as many of his musical influences come from that genre. However, the toned-down approach taken straight off from first track, sets the theme for the album, leaving his debut efforts somewhat monotonous at times, without any memorable highs that were prominent in his back catalogue with Oasis.

An award not coming from the NME Noel ass lickers, so it's more credible.
A few days ago the prize for "XFM best British debut album", Noel vs Liam. The Vaccines won.
These are the 10 albums that received the most votes:

The Vaccines - What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?
Beady Eye - Different Gear, Still Speeding
James Blake - James Blake
Chapel Club - Palace
Noel Gallagher's - High Flying Birds=penises, in Italian slang
Ben Howard - Every Kingdom
Miles Kane - Colour Of The Trap
Benjamin Francis Leftwich - Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm
Scroobius Pip - Distraction Pieces
Ed Sheeran - +

‎"Have you ever met any of the members of Oasis?
We met Noel through a mutual friend in London. We were introduced to him in a pub, and were all getting on well until someone mentioned we were in a band. Immediately Noel asked, "What's your band called?", to which we had to reply that we didn't have a name yet. I'll never forget the look of utter disgust on his face as he said, "A band without a name? What a joke!", and walked off."
Ladies & gentlemen, this is Noel Galliga.
