Noel Gallagher ROCKS. Lol joking, he's the same old lazy fuck still arguing

LONDON - The only photo of the wedding.
He said his new albums are not rock music. Noel Gallagher says that he doesn’t like being a frontman because he is very lazy and the job requires a lot of hard work.
‘There’s a lot of work involved in this and I’m a lazy fuck. But I think I’ll be alright. I’d got to start again from scratch. I’m not a frontman, now I have to be the guy up the front giving it all the jazz hands’.
‘I’ve been in a band with a great frontman, and I was a great guitarist and backing vocalist who chirped in with the odd funny quip. It was perfect. This is just a major pain in the bollocks. But I’m getting used to the idea,’ he added.
'I was sat in bed one night before I got my band together. I said to my wife, ‘It’s just dawned on me, I’ve got to find five other people. I won’t know their wives or girlfriends or mates and I’ve got to share a tour bus with them. It’s like giving up drugs and moving on to a new circle of friends.'
And it seems finding the right people for his “collective” proved to be something of a dilemma. Noel adds: 'I had two options, you either get a load of kids in and then you end up looking like Bryan Ferry. Or you don’t and you have mates – but then I don’t know many 44-year-olds that aren’t bald. But it fell in to place nicely. It’s the noble thing to do. Bands are for the young.'
Noel also said that many people wrongly believed he was relieved when Oasis split.
‘I was at a party and Richard Ashcroft was there. He said, ‘I bet it’s a relief’. I said, ‘No, actually, it’s a fucking pain in the arse.’ He said, ‘I remember with The Verve, when I left it was a relief.’ I said, ‘I don’t give a fuck about The Verve.’
Noel almost quit recording his upcoming experimental album after his collaborators forced him to perform endless re-takes. He headed into the studio with British dance duo Amorphous Androgynous to lay down tracks for a psychedelic record to accompany his debut solo release.
He was startled by his collaborators Gaz Cobain and Brian Dougans' attention to detail and their habit of recording the same piece of music numerous times - and they almost came to blows as his temper boiled over.
'Gaz Cobain made me record and record, and when he heard something he liked he would film it. Then his colleague Brian Dougans would go off and cut everything up and use a bass line for one track and a drum loop for another.'
'I almost called it off on the first day when Gaz made me play the same guitar line for five hours and 10 minutes... On the 27th take we nearly came to blows."
Of his High Flying Birds album, he says he hasn’t tried to write songs any differently. 'I never think about how a song compares to other stuff, as long as I’m getting across what I’m trying to. Singers think about what they’re singing. I’m not a singer. Guitarists think about what they’re playing. I’m not a guitarist… I’m a songwriter. That’s actually the biggest change. I don’t have to tell someone what the song’s about. In that sense, it’s easier.'
Wasn't he supposed to "go solo" without anyone, 'cause he can do everything, he's God, Jesus, fucking genius, blah blah. Then if you're not a singer, you shouldn't sing.
Dido :)
