Beady Eye & friends concert for Japan on the radio

LONDON - (photo in Milan) We'll have exclusive access to the show that is sure to be a legendary night featuring Beady Eye, Paul Weller, Primal Scream, Graham Coxon, Richard Ashcroft, The Coral and Kelly Jones are on the bill for the charity show Japan Disaster Benefit at O2 Academy Brixton on Sunday (April 3).
The money raised from the show is going towards helping those who have been affected by the recent eathquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan.
The gig is completely sold-out but we will be broadcasting from backstage from 6pm.

XFM Radio have also confirmed they will be recording the show for a live broadcast on the evening featuring live performances and interviews.
Beady Eye’s Liam Gallagher said “We’ve always had close ties with Japan and great affection for our fans out there. We’ve been saddened by the horrific TV images of the disaster. Our hope is that this benefit concert can help the people of Japan.”
“We’re glad to be able to support such a great cause and help the people of Japan in any way we can.” - The Coral
A statement from Primal Scream reads: “We are humbled to play the Japan Disaster Benefit and help in contributing to the relief efforts and as Mani is unable to attend due to prior family commitments, are pleased to announce we will be joined for one night only by Sex Pistols legend Glen Matlock.”
"I really wanted to do something to show solidarity and sympathy with the Japanese people. Japan is a place I've been to many times in the last 30 years. I've made many friends there and have been treated very well. They are a kind race of people. My heart goes out to them. The lineup is great for the show and it’s gonna be a brilliant night." - Paul Weller

Promoters for the charity gig set up for Japan have criticised websites for allowing people to re-sell tickets for profit.
SJM, who are organising the show with the British Red Cross, have branded the sites "highly distasteful".
They said: "We strongly disapprove of profiteering from the misery and suffering of the people in Japan."
Tickets are being sold for over double their original value.
SJM said they had asked companies involved in the secondary/reselling ticket market to "delist the event".
"It is very disappointing that one secondary reseller and eBay continue to offer these charity fundraiser tickets," it added.
