Liam Gallagher has declared that Oasis' split is the "best thing that's ever happened", after realising it has given him more freedom.
The singer, who was promoting his Pretty Green clothing label in the US, told the New York Times he is now relishing his post-Oasis career after initally being "gutted" about the break-up.
"In hindsight it was the best thing that’s ever happened, because we're free to do whatever we want," said Gallagher, who confirmed in the interview he has not spoken to his brother and former bandmate Noel since the break-up last August.
Meanwhile, Gallagher, who recently announced his new band would be called Beady Eye, bemoaned the lack of snappy dressers around at the moment.
He said: "Not a lot of people look cool these days, like my cool. Everybody plays it down, don’t they?"
And he added that he only wanted those who were cool enough to wear his Pretty Green clothes.
"I don't want just anybody wearing it," said the singer. "And people go, 'Oh, beggars can't be choosers.' Well, I ain't a beggar, you know what I mean?"

On the contrary, Yoko Ono, the 77 years old Japanese woman of John Lennon, who caused the Beatles split, said she would like Oasis to reform. "I loves Oasis. We need the power of goodness like them. The goodness is shining from their music. I hope they will make more albums."
Marco:
first Jessica post ^_^
After a war there's always freedom...
I also don't speak with my sister since last year... another strange coincidence, it never happened for a so long time... we always used to quarrel often as Oasis, but then...split.
well Liam now was near Milan and in Amalfi @ La Caravella restaurant, name from Columbus ships, as when he recently took an Italian-made ship to travel from America (built by the same Fincantieri building the submarine I see from my windows :)
