Nelson supports the 2018 back the bid

this morning

Other extracts again from Noel's appearance on TalkSport:

Andy Goldstein: With the World Cup I’d expect to see quite a few names going to Man City.
Noel: “I’d expect to see quite a few going, as well, though. I don’t think we’ll buy.. I don’t think there will be the outlays that Mark Hughes had, like eight or nine players, I think probably three or four would be the maximum, I think.”
A: Looking back at the season, happy with it?
N: “I’d have been happy with it at the start but, eh, I think overall yeah, I think we’ve come a long way from tenth and the manager was ejected half way through the season, I think we’ve done alright. I’ve got no complaints about Wednesday... I thought Tottenham were the better team and overall during the season, particularly in the run-in, the last six games, they kind of beat Chelsea, Arsenal and City so fair play to them.”
A: Do you think not getting fourth place has hindered your chances of getting the kind of players you would have expected to see at Eastlands, or do you think it makes no difference as you’ll definitely be playing Champions League football soon?
N: “Well yeah, obviously we’ve not got it this year, if we don’t get it next year it’ll definitely be the year after, but I mean, how many... there’s a dozen top, top players in the world and they can’t all play for your club, so we’ve got Tevez and we’ve got Shay Given and we’ve got, we’ve got some good players, but I think we’ll get... I think all we’ve got to get is a couple, we need a wizard in the middle of the park, and we need a centre-half and a left-back and I think we’ll be alright.”
A: What have you got planned for the week?
N: “Right, I always remember at about quarter to ten, “I should have said that!”, what am I doing this week? I’m doing... I’ve got to do something for the Back The Bid campaign for the World Cup thing, I dono what it is, it’s some kind of interview and I’ve got a wedding next Saturday.”

I don't agree with Noel when he often says that "in England there are no easy games as in Italy"... in England you do have easy games, I often see results as 6-0, 8-0, etc., in Italy there are no easy games at all, with many goals I've seen a 5-2, 4-3, etc., even the first team in the league was about to lose against the last one, and this is always happening.
