Bloc Party, you know (maybe you don't know them) are that gay band singing in falsetto, always insulting Oasis, asking the crowds to boo Oasis, as children, clearly jealous of Oasis success. Probably Bloc Party know they are shit, so they insult Oasis 'cause it's their only way to be known around. Tuneless rubbish, lack of melodic originality or style, embarrassing lyrics, unimaginative riffs and a prime example of current indie rubbish. All of the above describe Bloc Party, the band that always seem to be on TV music/festival highlights and always make one unneccessarily leave ones comfy armchair to shoot oneself/change the channel. Stop these wankers before all musical hope is lost. Here's Liam answer...
Former Oasis Liam Gallagher hates indie bands who write ''student music'' and don't wash.
The singer - whose brother Noel quit Oasis last August - has blasted British bands like Bloc Party branding their music "nonsense".
He said: "I really despise this new fucking disease of indie fucking shit, fucking student music, the likes of Bloc Party and all that fucking nonsense. They don't keep me awake at night, but it's just shite, and they can fucking have it mate."
The 37-year-old star - who runs the fashion label Pretty Green - has also blasted musicians who don't take care of their appearance and thinks scruffy rockers look like homeless people.
He added to Esquire magazine: "The thing is, man, you can make your clothes look like they've been worn in and look as if they've had a bit of character, but underneath you've got to have a fucking wash. Those fuckers wear the clothes all the fucking time and they don't wash, so it's like, 'Where's the fucking bench?'
"I've heard plenty of bands that can write a decent enough tune then you see them and I go, 'Thank fuck - they look like shit.' If you look good and you've got the tunes, you're away man."
