All’epoca, Johnny Rotten – al secolo John Lydon, che ora fa l’immobiliarista a Los Angeles - aveva dichiarato: "Piuttosto uno sputo in faccia". Grande, che duro. Lo sputo in faccia glielo do io, non comprando niente di suo. L’etichetta è la Universal, francese. E’ una rivincita della critica musicale, che negli anni ’70 stroncò il loro primo album definendolo "puro frastuono".
