(dedicated to the Brazilian musician Vanessa) this butterfly is called "Vanessa io" (Inachis io) or "Peacock eye". And the name comes from Greek Juno priestess, for its legendary beauty

as every historic album, also the last one of Oasis has got some mystery. It seems inspired by the legendary Sergent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. I wonder why the butterfly appears and disappears...
It has an atomic bomb on the cover, and then Oasis split up...
Also the previous Oasis cd covers had summat strange (see old post): New York with the Twin Towers in the background in 2000, before September 11, the pier in Weston-super-Mare then burnt by a fire, the problems of the music shop in Berwick street in London, George Best who died, etc.
